Broadhaven is a modern bungalow situated on the foreshore of the Moray Firth in Lossiemouth. It has stunning sea views and an uninterrupted vista north and west. Broadhaven enjoys sunny mornings on the south side of the bungalow where there is ample space for outdoor dining. The french windows of the dining room open onto a patio and barbeque area. As the sun moves round, the patio at the front overlooking the sea is a great space for outdoor dining and for watching the dolphins as they make their way through the Moray Firth as well as the abundance of sea birds that visit the coast. Enjoy the outside space in the long daylight hours in the summer months, spectacular sunsets and low light pollution throughout the year for fantastic night skies. Sitting in the lounge looking out at mesmerizing waves, cloud formations and weather, the view constantly changes. Broadhaven is on the Moray Coastal Trail and is an ideal location for guests with dogs, you'll see regular dog walkers in front of the house. There is a large garden at the rear of the property as well as a small garden area at the front. A play park for children is two minutes walk from the property. The Championship and New links courses at Moray Golf Club are five minutes walk away and there are a further 12 courses within a 20 mile radius of Lossiemouth

The large kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with a 5 burner gas hob, electric ovens and grill, dishwasher, large fridge and fridge-freezer in the utitlity room alongside the automatic washing machine. The very large lounge and dining room is furnished in a contemporary style, with a living flame gas fire, and offers 3 very large sofas, including seating looking out of the huge picture window to the north and west. The two double rooms have double beds with feather duvets and cotton bedding. Each of these bedrooms have built in wardrobes as well as drawer units. The single room is furnished to the same standard with the same quality bedding. There is a large walk-in shower room which is separate from the bathroom-toilet as well as a separate toilet in the hallway. There is a large cloakroom as well as an airing cupboard for drying clothes.

The sailing club is close to the Moray Golf Club and an outward bound company is two minutes away along Shore Street. Taste locally caught seafood in local restaurants and cafes. Join a dolphin watch boat or sea fishing boat at the harbour. Follow the whisky trail which you can join in nearby Elgin.

The Scottish Highlands region

Lossie is well situation on the north east coast of the Moray Firth. Day trips to Aviemore, the Cairngorms (Ben Nevis) are popular excursions. Inverness is a short one hour car or train (from Elgin) journey. It's possible to visit Loch Ness and Skye on a day trip. A forty minute drive from Lossie joins the world famous whisky trail where you can stop at as many distilleries as you wish along the River Spey. Fort George is also popular for a day trip and, closer to home is Elgin Cathedral and Duffus Castle.

Lossiemouth

Lossiemouth has two beautiful beaches on either side of the town. The Seatown at the east side of Lossie still has the original fishermen's cottages and glorious walks up the river Lossie. The Fisheries Museum is a great source of local history. There are a few fishing boats left in Lossiemouth but the harbour is mainly a marina for yachts and pleasure crafts. You'll find the Dolphin Watch boat as well as a boat offering sea fishing trips in the harbour if you're interested although dolphins frequently swim in front of Broadhaven. The Moray Golf Club has two links courses. It's possible to walk up the old railway line to Spynie Castle. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and take aways in Lossiemouth to enjoy, all within walking distance of Broadhaven, as well as bars and pubs. There are enough shops in Lossiemouth to get all that you would need in terms of food - a high class butcher, a baker, chemists and a good sized Co-operative at the edge of the town.

"Fantastic house with wonderful views"

I travelled with my husband, teenage son and my parents to Broadhaven, Lossiemouth. What a great house that had everything that you could want and more. A large living room with great big sofa's for us all to relax in after a day out walking. The views from the living room was breath taking and always changing which was lovely. Fantastic comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms, especially the lovely big shower. The local food shops were just a short walk away as was the fish and chip shop. We will be back.

"The perfect holiday home,"

Broadhaven is what you hope for in a holiday let but seldom find. It is spotlessly clean, well equipped to a high standard and extremely comfortable. The uninterrupted sea view from the front of the property is spectacular, especially when the sun is setting. Lossiemouth is in a beautiful location with two fantastic beaches - doggy heaven. I would highly recommend this property.

"Beautiful and confortable house:I felt more at home than in my own house"

The house is located at 50 m from the rocky coast line. The children got up and went crabbing every morning before breakfast.
We shared with my parent in law but the house is so spacious and well presented that we never felt on top of each other.
Everything is new, clean, the beds are confortable and the rooms very spacious. There is a big living room and lots of sitting spaces. The living room opens into an extension with clear see views.
We saw dolphins jumping in the see, beautiful red sun sets. Amazing!

It never rained! (for a full week and the temperature was a lot higher that in Manchester)

We will come again and I strongly recommend it to anybody looking for a quiet place to stay but with lots of amenities, fresh air and nice people!
