Home description
Beautiful and spacious villa which offers you a relaxed and friendly stay in the traditional Spanish town of Los Montesinos. The villa is south-west facing and has full sun in the garden during summer and winter. The solarium, with views over the pool, is the perfect place to catch the last sun of the day and watch the sunset. A large swimming pool is just across from the villa and the garden and porch has excellent views over the pool.
The villa is just 10 minutes drive to coast where there is a number of large blue flag beaches including Guardamar and La Mata with promenades and smaller beaches and coves are a short drive away. There are several great golf courses in the area including La Finca, Campoamor and Villamartin and, the nearest course La Finca just 5km away.
The villa is perfect for a family holiday, long weekend break or golf break.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Vega Baja region of Alicante has over 50 kilometres of coast with an abundance of fine sandy beaches. The most important towns in the area are Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura.
Torrevieja is one the main tourist points of the Costa Blanca. The average yearly temperature is 20ºC. Along with the good weather, the town takes pride in its well kept beaches that have had the Blue Flag for years, with bathing areas which have been recommended by the Economic European Community for the quality of the water and the amenities.
Guardamar have a wide expanse of dunes stretch to the sea with a long blue flag beach stretching over 10km. The nature reserve of the lagoons of La Mata have extensive walks and abundant with various wildlife. Torrevieja offers a wide range of leisure activities and night entertainment, including an aqua park, bowling alley, casino, sports complex, also with restaurants, shops and stunning seafront promenade, beaches and marina.
The city of Elche is 20 minutes drive away and is the 2nd largest city in the Alicante region. La Manga in the Mar Menor and Cartagena with it's large naval port and historical buildings are 40 minutes away in the Murcia region.
Alicante and Murcia are a 45 minute drive from Los Montesinos and both have a number of plazas, restaurants and shopping centres.
Benidorm is just over 1 hour drive to Los Montesinos with Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Mundomar and Aqualandia amusement parks. The city of Valencia is just over 2 hours drive from Los Montesinos.
Los Montesinos / La Herrada area
Situated approximately 5 minutes from the attractive small Spanish town of Los Montesinos, close to the popular resort of Quesada and looking over the natural beauty of the lagoon of Torrevieja, La Herrada has an elevated position with views over the salt lakes and natural park.
There is a large SuperValu supermarket, bars and restaurants a few minutes walk from the villa. There are a large number of bars and restaurants in Los Montesinos and the surrounding area at very reasonable prices. Los Montesinos has a chinese, italian restaurants, tapas bars, and traditional spanish restaurants.
Cuidad Quesada is 5 minutes drive from the villa and also has a large number of restaurants, including a bistro, steak house, chinese, thai and a number of spanish restaurants.
There are a lot of fiestas in Los Montesinos and the surrounding villages and towns. From July to October most towns have a local fiesta.
The towns of Torrevieja, Guardamar, Cuidad Quesada and San Miguel are all within 10 minutes drive from the villa where there are a numerous restaurants and shopping centres.
For a day out with the kids there is a large water park called Aquapolis in Torrevieja and two smaller waterparks at La Siesta and Cuidad Quesada. There is a safari park in Elche called Rio Safari and horse riding and quad biking available close by.

Both Alicante and Murcia airports are a short drive to Los Montesinos and can be easily reached by road.

Further details indoors: The villa is over split over 3 levels with a large tiled garden, terrace and solarium. There are air conditioning / heating units in the main living room and main bedroom.
The living room has a 3 seater sofa bed and 2 seater sofa, with large dining table.
The kitchen is fully equipped with hob and oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and all kitchen crockery, cutlery and utensils.
The master bedroom has a full size double bed, and all single beds are 3ft (uk sizes) with luxury matteresses. There are double built-in wardrobes in each bedroom and adequate storage space with bedside units and 5 drawer chests. All bedding, bath towels and hand towels are included and only beach towels are required. The following baby equipment is available: travel cot, high chair and plastic plates and cutlery.
The property is very well equipped and well maintained.
Further details outdoors: The villa is directly oposite the communal pool with excellent views of the pool from the garden, terrace and solarium.
There is a comfortable wicker sofa and 2 chairs in the front porch and in the garden there is a large patio table with 4 chairs and umbrella. There are also sunbeds provided for the garden.
The solarium has far distant views of the salt lakes, sea on the horizon, mountains and surrounding areas. The solarium view stretches along the coast from Guardamar to Oriheula Costa. The solarium also has 2 sunbeds with cushions and a patio table with 4 chairs and umbrella

No smoking is allowed inside the premises and is only permitted in the outside areas and ashtrays are provided.
Your accommodation will be available upon arrival. Flexible departure dates are available and access may be required on changeover day to prepare for next guests. If the villa is booked on your departure date, a time will be allocated to vacate the villa.
