Home description
A fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment which can sleep between 4/6. The urbanisation of La Herrada is about a 15 minute walk into Los Montesinos which is a friendly spanish town which offers a good variety of shops, bars and restaurants. However, if you don't fancy going far, there is a bar, restaurant and cafe on the La Herrada complex. The urbanisation itself is a nice quiet area which is surrounded by lemon and orange groves and has a lovely friendly community.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The region benefits from good all year round sunny and warm weather. There are many beautiful beaches and the nearest being at Guademar which ia s short 15 minutes drive. Near by activities include horse riding, cycling, go-karting, water parks and a Safari Park at Elche. There are plenty of fantastic golf courses and La Finca is a short 10 minute drive away.
Weekly markets; Montesinos street market held on Friday, the main market (which is huge) is held on a Sunday on the outskirts of Montesinos and another popular one is at Guademar on a Wednesday.
Torrevieja is about 9km away so if you enjoy shopping you will love the Haberneras shopping mall. On the top floor of the shopping centre is a small fair for the children. Next to this there is a cafe so you can relax over a cup of coffee whilst they play. Close to the shopping centre is the Aqua park, a cinema, bowling alley and a casino. There are plenty of eating places in this area including KFC, McDonalds and Burger King (to keep the young ones happy) as well as more traditonal cuisine.
Los Montesinos / La Herrada area
July is particularly lively in Los Montesinos. First there is the celebrated cultural week with live dance, music and theatre. On the last weekend of the month Los Montesinos holds it's own colourful traditional fair. Each year on 12th October floats parade through the village as the locals celebrate the Virgin de la Pilar.
How to get there
You can fly to either Alicante or Murcia airport. The apartment is approximately a 35 minute drive away from either. Distance from apartment - Murcia airport 35 km and Alicante airport 42km.

Although there is a TV in the lounge, unfortunately at present we don't have any satellite channels due to provider being closed down. This is something we are definitely looking to rectify by switching providers and the TV can only play DVD's for meantime, sorry.
In the twin bedroom cupboard, beach accessories can be found which you are welcome to use ie: lilo, bucket and spades, snorkel and beach ball.
Further details outdoors: Balcony is equipped with table and chairs for Al Fresco dining or for chilling out in the evening.
Communal swimming pool which is located 30 seconds from the apartment. Has green areas for sunbathing and has showering facilities. Pool also has a paddling section for younger children.
Various children's play areas (swings and climbing frames) located around the complex.
There is a large supermarket about 3 minutes walk from our apartment which sells fresh meat, fish and fruit/veg. There is also a bar, restaurant and cafe located on the complex if you fancy a short walk home after a glass or two.

A non-returnable deposit of £50 to secure booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before departure.
In addition to weekly rental rate, a standard 50 euro charge must be paid at beginning of your stay on handover of the apartment keys which covers your end of stay cleaning and keyhandover.
Pick up and drop off from airport can be arranged (approx 40 euros each way).
The owners regret that they cannot accept liability for injury or the loss of valuables during your stay.
