Home description
Fabulous spacious villa with a host of features including high-ceiling lounge, fireplace, south-facing front garden and terrace, fully equipped kitchen, separate utility room and a large rooftop solarium with views across the salt lakes. We have equipped it to a very high standard with leather sofas, outdoor furniture, hot/cold aircon, microwave, UK TV, DVD and CD player. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. There is a large communal pool area, lots of outdoor space and private parking. The villa is in an excellent location just outside the busy town of Los Montesinos with easy access to Torrevieja shopping centres, beaches and motorways making it an ideal base for holidays or longer term rental. For larger family groups we also have a 2 bedroom apartment just around the corner

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The southern Costa Blanca or White Coast as the name means, has an average of 320 days a year of sunshine and maintains an average year round temperature of 24°C. According to the WHO the area has the "healthiest climate in the world". This is caused by the combination of constant year round warm temperatures and the huge salt lakes rich in minerals (all conservation areas) which are also home to a host of wildlife including large flocks of flamingos. Los Montesinos is only minutes from the motorway enabling easy access to the historic cities and shopping areas of Alicante, Murcia and Cartegena. The inland sea of Mar Menor with its fishing villages, marinas and a host of watersports is only a short drive away.
Los Montesinos area
Surrounded by orange groves & the protected natural park of the salt lakes, Los Montesinos has a good variety of Spanish and English bars, shops & restaurants. The lakes and nearby mountain areas are ideal for walking, cycling or birdwatching. There are 5 golf courses nearby and Torrevieja is less than ten minutes away by car where you will find a large commercial shopping centre, with international restaurants, bowling, and an Aqua Park. There are 17km of blue flag beaches along the coast from Torrevieja to Guardamar and the warm water and therapeutic mud spas of the Mar Menor are worth the 30 minute drive. For shoppers and people-watchers local markets can be found every day in nearby towns and the cities of Alicante, Murcia and Benidorm are all easily accessible by motorway. We would recommend using a car to get about as there is plenty to see and do
