The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Valencia is the home of paella, and this area has white sandy beaches, with the mountains rolling away to the sea. The city of Valencia blends Roman and Gothic architecture with ultra-modern constructions, and is an increasingly popular destination. The city is set upon the Costa del Azahar, quieter than the Costa Blanca to the south, with vast stretches of orange groves and sandy beaches.
Relaxing, golfing, shopping or simply lazing at the beach, a holiday on the Costa Blanca has something for everyone and is all within easy reach of Los Montesinos.
Los Montesinos / La Herrada area
Los Montesinos is approximately 10 minutes drive inland from the Spanish holiday resort of Torrevieja, which offers a wide range of leisure activities and night entertainment including an aqua park, bowling alley, cinema, casino sports complex, also bustling with restaurants, shops and a stunning seafront promenade, beaches and marina.
Los Montesinos is a 15 minute walk from the complex of La Herrada. The town has local fiestas and celebrations, which take place in the town square. There are also a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and banks.
The La Herrada complex has a big supermarket a few minutes walk from the apartment. A restaurant, bar, bazaar, haridressers etc,, are soon to be opening on site.
There is also an ever-expanding hypermarket complex a 10 minute drive away with Carrefour, Aldi, Lidl, MacDonalds and the new Haberneras shopping centre with its numerous shops and approx 25 restaurants and bars, which have an ultra modern atmosphere and a closing time later than the rest - until 5am. There is also a games and leisure complex - "ozone", with bowling alley, gaming casino and 8 multi-screen cinema complex, which benefits from the best sound and image technology in Europe.
For those who enjoy a round of golf there are many championship courses to choose from including Greenlands (5 minutes drive away), La Finca, Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas and La Marquesa all within a fifteen minute drive. The Courses at Alicante, Bonalba and La Manga are less than an hours drive.
Beach lovers will be spoilt for choice with a number of stunning beaches within a short drive of the apartment. One such is Guadamar, with miles of beautiful sandy beach, a marina and bright blue sea.

The property is located in Los Montesinos approximately 30 minutes drive south from Alicante airport or 30 minutes north from Murcia (San Javier) airport.
