Home description
Ideal for families or mature groups wishing to stay in a real Spanish pueblo but with very easy access to beautiful sandy beaches, several golf courses, nature reserves and the towns of Torrevieja and Guardamar. The apartment has 3 double bedrooms, one with a double, the other two with twin beds. For extra flexibility there is also a sofa bed in the living room. All bedrooms have wardrobes, with a safe fitted in the double room.The double room has an en suite with walk in shower, and the main bathroom has a 4 piece suite with shower and screen over the bath.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Known as one of the healthiest areas in Europe because of its climate and air quality, Torrevieja has very mild winters with 320 days of sun Flamingoes and many other birds can be seen on the the salt lakes and the nature reserves around them are wonderful places for walking and cycling. The sandy beaches are backed by dunes and pine forests. Places to visit include historical cities of Valencia, Murcia and Alicante as well as the smaller picturesque towns such as Orihuela and Elche
Los Montesinos area
Los Montesinos has many festivals through the year including spectacular processions at Easter and mediaeval markets, a weekly market is held in Los Montesinos and there are many others in neighbouring towns and villages. There are many beaches within 15/20 minutes drive, from long sandy blue flag beaches at Guardamar to smaller coves south of Torrevieja. Los Montesinos has a good sized municipal swimming pool which is open in the summer months, and the local fitness club is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There are a number of well established golf courses within a few minutes drive, the nearest being La Finca. For music lovers the local music college in Los Montesinos provides a variety of concerts. Los Montesinos has a good selection of restaurants but when you wish to eat in, the local butchers, bakers and fishmongers as well as supermarkets provide a great range of fresh produce all within easy walking distance. Between Los Montesinos and Torrevieja there is a new shopping centre including a hypermarket and many other stores and facilities
How to get there
Cheap flights available to either Alicante or Murcia airports from Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch etc Alicante approx 40 mins - Murcia approx 30mins. Car hire available from the airport can be booked on line through Carjet or Economy Car Hire.

Further details indoors: The apartment has a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, with large adjoining galleria. The sitting / living room opens on to a verandah with views over orange and lemon groves to the mountains. The salt lake can also be seen from here. A beautiful new `garden' and children's play area has just been created at the other side of the building. The building has entryphone system, a lift and parking space. All the windows have security blinds. The apartment has full cool/warm air conditioning so is ideal for holidays all year round .

Brilliant apartment with easy access to great bakery, butcher, English and Spanish Supermarkets and restaurants in Los Montesinos. Fab views from poolside on roof plus short trip to lovely sea side. Aircon was a boon during the hot days..and what sunsets!!!!! Chris and Roy Houghton
