About the home
The apartment is located just minutes' walk from Vistabella golf course that also has 3 paddle tennis courts and a lawn bowls court. Quiet and peaceful, yet only five minutes from the old towns of Los Montesinos and San Miguel del Salinas, with their local markets and many excellent restaurants. The larger resort of Torrevieja, is only fifteen minutes, with its beaches, promenade, an Olympic size indoor swimming pool, water park and an abundance of restaurants and shops.
The apartment benefits from a shared swimming pool. Leading from the living room is a spacious south facing balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast and evening drinks, or if you just want to get away from the solarium where temperatures can reach 40+ in the height of the season, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families and golfers alike, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

NOTE: The two single beds can be bolted together & have side supports to prevent the mattresses from moving, making a large double bed.
A large private sun solarium with BBQ and Spanish style table and benchs. There are mosquito blinds throughout, Satellite TV receiving ITV, BBC etc together with a DVD library of 60+ DVD's for your enjoyment. Wi-Fi and a computer with internet access, skype phone and webcam so that you can keep in contact with your family and friends while you are away. The PC also has MS Autoroute, on which I have placed pins showing the location of local restaurants, shops and attractions, as well as a number of travel guides on the desktop on ideas for day trips. For those who have never used a PC before or with limited use, I will be happy to spend a couple of hours with you.
There is ample street parking at the apartment and the area has very good street lighting.

If it's just relaxation that you want then there is a communal pool, within a minutes walk, 3 bars serving food & entertainment as well as the Golf Club restaurant/bar, 2 grocery stores, a chemist, hair dressers, Indian and Chinese Restaurant all on the urbanisation. There is a children's play area and a boules court, a weekly market held on site on a Thursday morning plus a daily mobile bread delivery van.
New.......Tapas bar just opened.
Conditions
Prices shown are per week for up to 4 people.
There is a €25 cleaning charge, payable on arrival.
Bed linen and towels are provided, including beach towels. For stays of more then 7 days, a change of linen is also provided.
A non refundable deposit payment of £50 is required to secure a reservation. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
A refundable breakages/key deposit of £50 is payable with balance of booking fee, and will be returned in full providing there are no breakages.
Written confirmation of your booking and payments is provided.
Met personally on arrival with keys. A map and instructions to the property are provided.
We strongly suggest that you take out adequate travel insurance before you travel. We accept no liability for your insurance needs.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Entre Naranjos is well placed to visit both the Costa Blanca South & the region of Murcia, with Alicante and the city of Murcia being only a 40 minute drive away in opposite directions.
Why not visit the Cathedral of Murcia with its Bell tower containing 25 bells that served to warn the population about the catastrophic floods of the Segura River, wars, celebrations, and festivities. There is a Museum at the Cathedral, the admission being only €3 and children under 16 are free (at time of writing). There is also the Casino which dates back to 1847, The Bishop’s Palace amongst other historic buildings or Terra Natura, on the outskirts of Murcia. Indulge yourself in some shopping at the large shopping mall.
Or try Cartagena, with its Roman theatre or the remains of the Antigua Santa María La Vieja Cathedral shelled during the Spanish Civil War.
If you travel north from Entre Naranjos on the A7 you will reach Elche, which has the largest shoe factory in Europe and Elche Safari Park. Further along the A7 is Alicante with its squares, harbour, beaches and castle.
The Los Montesinos / Entre-Naranjos area
Los Montesinos has a calm and tranquil feel about it. It sits on the edge of the beautiful salt lake which creates a microclimate that makes it one of the healthiest places in the world to live according to the World Health Organisation. It is surrounded by orange and lemon groves and in the springtime you can smell the gorgeous scent of the orange and lemon blossom and notice the many almond trees with their pinky-lilac blossom.
As well as Vistabella Golf Course, right on the doorstep, there are 5 other good golf courses in close proximity to Entre Naranjos, including the superb La Finca golf course, Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Club de Golf las Ramblas, and Golf And Country Club la Marquesa. All within a 12 to 30 min drive.
There are water parks at Cuidad Quesada, Torrevieja & La Siesta, (but are only open during June, July, August & some of September - check my website for links).
For those who like to walk there are various walking routes within a short drive, such as Parque de Montana, just outside Albatera. Why not join the Costa Blanca Walking Group during October to May, who have organized walks very other week.

From Alicante Airport
On leaving the airport follow the signs for the A7 to Murcia / Cartagena. The motorway then splits and you need to follow the sign for Torrevieja (still on the A7).
Stay on until you see the sign for Los Montesinos (exit 751) - exit here, and take the first exit right off the roundabout signposted Orihuela (don't follow the sign for Montesinos).
About a mile down this road, lyou will come to a roundabout take the first exit for Entre Naranjos/Vistabella Golf. Carry straight up, at the third roundabout take the fist right, followed by the first left and the apartment is on the right.
From Murcia Airport
From the airport follow the signs to the A7 and take the motorway towards Alicante. Exit 'Los Montesinos' (exit 751) and follow signs for Orihuela. The appartment is exactly what we wanted to find. The main advantage is that it's an extremely quiet place. We intended to avoid any active night life places and any commotion around us in the daytime and we succeeded. The appartment isn't very large but quite cosy so we felt like at home. Access to the Internet is also a pleasant option. There are no supermarkets next door so you should plan all your purchases accurately. You can't do without a car, staying there. The owners Bob & Teresa are very nice and helpful people. Response: Thanks for staying at our apartment and we are glad you found it to be cozy. It is of course a typical Spanish holiday home, although the weather is probably a bit better then St Petersburg! Hope to see you again in the future. |

We had a very pleasant stay at the apartment, with the purpose of exploring the South Costa Blanca area around Torrevieja, inland west as far as Orihuela, up to Elche in the north and Murcia in the south. It is a beautiful area, and for this purpose the apartment was ideal located. The Apartment itself was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a good self catering holiday. The owners were easily contactable if required and more than happy to help and advise with anything via the Skype telephone connection. Although we did not need to use it as everything was great. The computer and internet connection kept us in contact with the outside world, without it intruding on the holiday, and was extremely useful for researching the local area. With temperatures in the low 30's the 'air con' was very useful, and didn't take long to cool us down. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We had a brilliant time, and the only reason we didn't award an excellent rating was that it is a relatively new development with only a few established facilities, although they include a shop, bar and golf course and club. Having said this, it is somewhat 'off the beaten track' which affords marvelous views and, with a car to get around the area being essential, there are many supermarkets, restaurants, and far more within easy striking distance.
