Our apartment is located just next to the shared key controlled pool, on the edge of this popular resort. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 10 minutes from the towns of Los Montesinos and San Miguel, the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the golf, local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. Our English-speaking key holder lives nearby
Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning lake and distant sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.
Additional sleeping facilities in lounge on very comfy double sofabed and pull out child bed.
Kitchen is fully stocked and has washing machine, cooker, hob and microwave.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


The region is well known for its sunshine and has over 320 days per year. The temperatures rarely fall below 30°C (86°F). Winters are also very mild with averages around 18°C (64°F).
** Golf Courses **
Just 3 minutes walk from the apartment is Laguna Green - Golf. It is to be a practice green for the Ryder Cup. A very challenging course! Buggies and clubs for are available hire. It has excellent club facillities including a restaurant.
La Finca (Algorfa Golf Club)
Is found in the region of Algorfa, in the Segura region. It has a wonderful setting and fantastic views. It includes a driving range, putting greens, chipping area and practice bunker. Also includes a restaurant, bar/cafeteria, changing rooms and golf shop where buggies trolleys and clubs are available for hire.
Villamartin Golf Club
This is one of the most popular golf courses in Spain. On the complex there is a club house. shops, restaurants, bars, banks, tennis courts, swimming pools and close by a horse riding stable. It is 10 minutes from Torrevieja town centre.
Golf Real Club de Golf Campoamor
Is situated near Torrevieja, and this 18 hole course is a good all round course for both the professional and the amateur player.
Spas: there are two mountain spas with natural spring pools at Fortuna and Archena - swimmable all year round
The Los Montesinos / Entre-Naranjos area
The drive to the local beaches is around 20 minutes with over 20 beaches in the area with sandy shores. The beaches have been awarded the triple European Blue Flag and are cleaned daily during the summer season.
Guardamar Local Beach
The beaches around Guardamar are very good. Very popular with surf fans and there is a lovely evening market at the northern end of the coast
La Marina Beach
To the North of Torrevieja, following the signs for Elche. This is not commercialized and has sand dunes.
La Zenia
This is found just past Playa Flamenca. Medium sized lovely clean beach with water sports in the summer.
Cabo Roig
Just South of La Zenia it is a great beach and fantastic beach bar.
Pillar de la horredada
This is found close to Campomar, very lively and lots of fun.
** Eating Out **
Eating locally is very reasonable - we have tried most restaurants in San Miguel and Los Montesinos - both have fantastic selection and well priced - chinese,Spanish,Italian and indian food
San Miguel de Salinas
Turn right onto the main road out of the estate, then turn left onto main road at t-junction and follow signs. About 5 minutes away. There are supermarkets, fish shop and butchers.
Dona Isabelle and El Prado– excellent traditional Spanish fixed price menus, both lunchtime and evenings.
Los Montesinos
Is larger than San Miguel, but similar distance. Turn left out of the estate, across 2 roundabouts and you’re there. Good small supermarket on your right as you drive in, with a butcher’s next door.
We recomend Portico Mar at Guardamar nice exclusive , very popular , must book, good value too

The apartment was in excellent condition and very clean on arrival, there was everything you would expect to find in a home, all we had to do was go shopping! The resort was very quiet with just a couple of shops and a bar, I think there could be more now as it was a relatively new complex in Sept 2010. The residents only pool was kept clean and tidy. Though the complex is surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is slightly remote and this is the only reason for the 4 out of 5 rating so, a car was essential, 15 - 20 minutes drive to the nearest beach and it was a lovely beach too. |

We stayed at this apartment in August with our three primary school aged children. The villa is very comfortable and very well stocked and equipped. I was pleased to find food in the store cupboard which we could use and replace as necessary. There were games, pens and paper for the children which had been thoughtfully provided by the owners. We also borrowed some of the beach equipment. There was a plentiful supply of bedding and towels with a opportunity to leave the place as we found it (very clean and tidy) or to pay extra for the cleaning to be done after we left. The layout of this first floor apartment worked really well for us. Our youngest child slept on a portable bed (which came from under the sofa) in our room but we could just as easlier had a child sleeping in the sitting room or we probably could have squeezed all three into the second bedroom. I especially liked the covered balcony with distant salt lake views. It was possible to sit in or out of the sun during the day and was very cosy to eat at the outside table and chairs at night. The roof terrace was great for drying clothes. There is a convenience store, cheap Chinese restaurant, a friendly bar and smart golf club restaurant all within walking distance. The pool is next door, very clean and a life guard is in attendance during the day. All in all we had excellant stay in this apartment. As this apartment is some way from towns and the beach, a car is a must. |
