Please note air conditioning provides cooling and heating and is coin metered.
There are also ceiling fans in the main living area and the bedrooms, so air con would only be needed for extreme temperatures.
There are also 3 deck chair/loungers and a sun umbrella that are available for use when you go to the beach, or the solarium.
Please bring your own beach towels.
The apartment block is also serviced by two lifts.
In addition there is a cleaning/changeover fee payable locally on arrival with every let, currently €60 (Euros)

Car hire can be arranged if required which includes pick up and return to airport - Alicante or Murcia. Transfers to and from airport(s) can also be arranged. Please note we will need sufficient notice for any of these services.

The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
The Costa Blanca corresponds to the coastline of the Province of Alicante, in the region of the Community of Valencia. Golfers will find it a joy, with many first class courses waiting to be conquered while their wives beautify in a spa or take in a little essential shopping. The climate is warm for about 9 months of the year and the South Costa Blanca promises at least 315 days of sunshine annually.
These apartments are perfectly located for those who prefer their amenities close by. The village of Los Montesinos retains all of its Spanish charm. There is a lovely square with many traditional bars & restaurants - perfect for enjoying a relaxing afternoon or evening - within two minutes walk of the apartment. Although we are nicely isolated from all the hustle & bustle, the beaches of Guardamar/Torrevieja are just a short drive away. The nearest golf course to the development is “La Finca” 5 minutes away; one of the best in the region. The Spanish locals are very friendly and welcoming, there are also a few expats living in and around the town giving the area a homely and comfortable atmosphere.
Finally Los Montesinos is close to the motorway, which provides easy access to both airports in the region and other large towns and cities, such as Murcia, Elche or Alicante.

"Would go back again like a shot!"

Thanks for your very nice review and yes we would definitely have you to stay again. Washing machine has now been replaced with a new one and very sorry about the fiesta we've been caught ourselves the problem is its not a fixed date and we honestly thought this year it was going to be end of October! Like you say a lovely experience but not for the whole week!

"Lovely location, and friendly, helpful owners."
The accommodation meets all your requirements for a family holiday. The rooftop pool is lovely and quiet with lovely views over the salt lake. The accommodation is within a couple of minutes of the village square with its restaurants, bars and shops, which is very family friendly. The owners were really helpful and arranged airport transfers for us.

"Excellent apartment at a very reasonable price"
Stayed here for 13 nights in August 2013. Apartment was very clean and had plenty of room for myself, husband and 2 children. There is a pool on the, very large, roof which is only available for residents of the apartments to use. Nice views and good drying facilities up there too. I think a picture of this on the apartment details would be helpful as its a real plus.
Los Montesinos is a small town/village 80% Spanish and about 20% ex-pat. A few bars and restaurants and small supermarkets that are cheaper than the larger ones in Torrevieja and have everything you would need. Car hire is available from a company on the main square at a fraction of the price that you would pay if you hired from the airport.
I would recommend a car but we only had one for 3 days and spent the rest of the time at the municipal pool on the outskirts of town (10 minute walk)1.50 euros per person per day and an excellent facility.
If you are looking for a busy holiday then this might not be for you but we loved it. A taste of Spain with none of the crowds.
Cath (who cleans the apartment) and Derek live in the same block and couldnt have been more helpful.
I should also add that the flat is very well equipped with everything a family would need. I didnt see any creepy crawlies or ants! There is a fan in every room and air con in the living room, operated by slot meter (1 euro for 2 hours) which is ample.
I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation, clean, comfortable and very reasonable priced.

"comfortable, well equipped apartment, in a good location"
The apartment was exactly what we were looking for. It was warm, comfortable, well maintained, well equipped and very reasonably priced. It was in a good location, only a few minutes walk from the main street and from the local shops and restaurants. We found some excellent walks in the mountains, a 40 minute drive from Los Montesinos, also the beautiful beach at Guardamar is only a 10 minute drive away. We would like to stay there again.

"excellent apartment and ideal location"
Apartment was very clean and in a good location. I use a wheelchair but we were able to go to many restaurants within 5 mins of the apartmentl, including a spanish one only 2 mins away. It is a lovely Spanish village and the people are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool on the roof was ideal to cool down and relax in the sun. The lady that cleaned the apartment was very friendly and helpful and arranged a taxi for us when needed. La Mata beach is only 10 mins away and has some shops and lovely restaurants over looking the sea.

"For The Puposeof Our Visit It Was Good"
We were happy with apartment except invasion of ants a few times also found cockroaches in bathroom ,air con we found expensive as had to have it on all the time due to the very hot weather .We found Cathy very helpful thank you Cathy ,found the streets could do with a good clean up ,taxies to beach expenseive as our trip was for dental treatment great location

There are regular buses to the various beaches for guests that don't drive, but we do advise on the site that hiring a car is recommended. Air conditioning is coin metered to prevent guests leaving it on at all times unneccessarily and ceiling fans are provided in all rooms. Regarding the ants we have been informed there had been a lot of insects due to the very hot weather but in the main they were in the public and outside areas.
