The Tenerife region
Situated in the Atlantic off the coast of North Africa, Tenerife enjoys an all year round temperate climate and stunning geographical features. In the north of the island you will find lush green slopes with alpine forest at a high level moving down through changing landscapes to tropical banana plantations. In the centre there is the islands crowning glory Pico del Tiede a volcanic crater standing at 3,718m above sea level. In the south of the island you will find a normally drier climate and the islands main tourist resorts of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos.
Los Cristianos / Oasis del Sur area
Situated in the south of the island of Tenerife, Los Christianos offers something for everyone .You can choose anything between relaxing on the beach and chilled out evenings to action packed holidays with a host of activities to choose from. For those who like golf you play locally in Las Americas or within a 15 minute drive you can try the courses at Adeje golf, Amarilla golf or Golf del Sur.Those of you who like water sports you can Ski, windsurf, jet ski, scuba dive and much more, if you think of it they probably do it . If shopping's your bag make it a big one, there are more shops than I could count from cheap and cheerful shops to classy designer outlets.
DAYS OUT Aquapark good value day out, watch out for the free bus Coach tours- Tiede Island tour and many others. Remember you get what you pay for, if it's cheap it will probably include a time share presentation or something similar. Excellent local bus service and Express bus service to Santa Cruz Boat trips include Whales and Dolphins and trips to Gomera and many more.
How to get there
Fly to Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia Airport - Oasis Del Sur is approx 15 km from the airport about 20 mins by taxi, cost around 20 euro, there are always plenty of taxis available at the airport. Scheduled flights available from Monarch, Jet2.com, Easyjet and many others depending on departure airport. Car hire available from the airport and many outlets in close proximity to the complex Daily bus service to Santa Cruz and Free bus to Water Parks.

The Bedroom has two single beds, fitted wardrobes and drawer space and a safe for the use of guest. The bathroom has a shower cubicle with thermostatic, adjustable shower and W.C, bidet and washbasin.
Further details outdoors: BOTH THE LOUNGE & BEDROOM Patio doors lead out onto the huge, South facing, private, luxury furnished terrace. Relax in the privacy of your own comfortable terrace area, which offers the perfect combination with both shaded and unshaded areas. Or enjoy a dip in one of the two fresh water pools on the complex before strolling out to enjoy a chilled drink at one of the bars and savouring the delights on offer in the excellent choice of restaurants.

We have stayed at the El Mirador twice now and the huge terrace is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing and it's so true that it's Location! Location! Location! We were so impressed with the choice of bars and restaurants. My husband rates Taylors Bar for the best pint of lager. We would recommend the apartments and the area to anyone. Ann & David, Mar 2009
