Tenerife is noted for its temperate climate all year round which makes it the one the ideal holiday locations. Places of local interest include Mount Teide which is only an hours drive away and the capital, Santa Cruz, which boasts a cosmopolitan feel.
The Los Cristianos / Arona area
Originally a fishing village, Los Christianos has now grown into a bustling selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The golden sandy beaches, not typical of this island, make this resort a haven for children and families to play and relax all day. The local port gives access to ferry trips to La Gomera and also boat trips to see the local whales and dolphins.

Fly to Tenerife South Airport. From there take a 15 minute Taxi ride or car hire to Oasis Del Sur. Taxi's should cost no more than 25 Euros so arrange a price with the driver first. The Airport has several car hire agents in the arrivals area.

Once again Castle Harbour was a brill place to stay, excellent rec eption facilities very helpful staff, pool always well maintained, on site bar competivly priced, overall good loacation with varied bars & restraunts close by, thanks to Jackie the booking and stay was a dream, many thanks and hope to return soon . |
