The Tenerife region
Tenerife is one of the Canary islands, famous for its tallest mountain, Mount Teide, Europe's highest dormant volcano. There are many places in Tenerife to see and do, sample the national park, or the beautiful beaches, to the newest attraction of Siam Park. All year round climate makes Tenerife a great place to come what ever the time of year.
Los Cristianos / Arona area
Los Cristianos is on the south coast of Tenerife and has a fantastic climate all year round. Once a small fishing village it still retains its charm and is a delightful place to stay. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars along the promenade and in the town itself. In the heart of the town there are many excellent shops and a picturesque town square which hosts many Spanish Traditions. The more lively town of Las Americas is only a short and inexpensive taxi ride away or walkable for the more energetic. There are two water parks in the area along with various animals parks/zoos which may suit the young at heart or those with children. There is a regular ferry that takes you to the islands of La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma or you could take one of the many excursions eg see The Volcanic Mount Teide the highest mountain in Spain, plus many boat trips from the harbour to watch the whales and dolphins. Los Cristianos is an ideal holiday destination for everybody.

There are plenty of hire car available to be able to pick up at the airport.
From the airport to the apartment is advisable by a 15 - 20 minutes ride in a taxi
