The Tenerife region
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and lies 200km off the coast of Africa, though it belongs to Spain and has Spain's highest mountain, Mount Teide. Tenerife enjoys virtually continuous sunshine with daily temperatures ranging from typically 24 C in the winter to 34 C in the height of summer.
There are several theme parks and attractions close to Los Cristianos, including the Aqua Park (water rides), Ecological Park Las Aguilas, Tenerife Zoo and plenty of local entertainment. There are five championship golf courses, four of which are located in the south of the Island including Golf Del Sur, Amarilla Golf, Golf Costa Adeje and Golf Las Americas. The north of the island is greener and cooler with a more traditional way of life.
Los Cristianos / Oasis del Sur area
The Oasis del Sur area of Los Cristianos has in recent years experienced a surge of popularity and is now full of new bars and good restaurants - it has become the more upmarket area of Los Cristianos. It is a five minute walk from here down the hill (not too steep) to the sea-front. There is a taxi rank 1 min from the complex so very easy to get taxis any time.
Los Cristianos is in the south of the island and has a wonderful harbour that offers fishing trips, pleasure cruises, glass bottom boats, diving excursions and ferries to La Gomera. The artificial beach is very nice with white sands and sunbeds and a promenade curves around the harbour where you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops.
Los Cristianos has managed to keep a little of its original architecture and atmosphere as a quaint fishing village. There is a big Sunday market and the town centre has some good shopping too.
How to get there
Taxi from the airport should cost approx €20. Just ask for Dinastia in the Oasis del Sur area of Los Cristianos, and ask to be dropped off at the entrance opposite Los Diamantes. If you're hiring a car then the route from Reina Sofia Airport to Dinastia is simple: get onto the motorway (autopista) and follow the signs for Los Cristianos (it's about 20 minutes drive).

Further details indoors: Apartment includes widescreen TV with satellite including all the English Channels (BBC, ITV, C4, Regular Sky) , DVD player. The bedroom has 2 single beds. There is also a double sofabed in the lounge. Highchairs and cots can be rented nearby (we can arrange this if required) . There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Straightening Irons for the ladies. Sheets and towels are provided - towels are changed twice weekly and sheets are changed once weekly. NOTE: You will need to bring your own beach towels. There is a telephone number in the apartment to contact management during your stay.
Further details outdoors: There is a lifeguard on duty beside the heated pool. There is a bar beside the pool where you can get food and beverages (in plastic cups only beside pool). The terrace is quiet and fairly private. It's 200 square foot! and includes a patio table and 4 chairs. The inner part of the terrace is covered and shady, the outer part is uncovered and sunny all day. There are sea views from many areas on the complex and slight sea views from the apartment. There are fantastic sunsets. There is always ample street parking (free) as the complex fronts onto a quiet road. There is also a security guard on site at night. There is a large Spar supermarket 2 mins walk away.

£100 deposit required on booking with the balance payable eight weeks prior to departure (last minute bookings can be paid at the complex on arrival).
We would ask that you confirm your arrival and departure times by email to avoid any double bookings or misunderstandings.
Check-in time is 2pm (to allow time to clean apartment if there are people staying there before you). Checkout time is usually 10am but can be flexible if there is no one coming in after you and the apartment does not need to be cleaned straight away.
Conditions
If you smoke there are 2 ashtrays in the apartment but would ask that you smoke on the large patio.
If your a golfer or coming with a group I could arrange cheaper club rental , drop of to golf courses, and maybe even tee times. Just ask and I'll try and arrange it all .If your with a bigger group , I'll need some notice.
Other transport needs while staying, just ask.
Basically if you need anything during your trip we should be able to arrange it for a small fee , such as shopping , lifts to attractions or a tailored day trip etc.

Christmas and New Year. We would prefer not to split the Christmas weeks so will only rent for either 2 seperate weeks or the full two. i.e. 22nd to 28th and 29th on or close to this.
If its close to your holiday and our availability calendar is showing your dates available, drop us a line and I'm sure some thing can be worked out.
Please be advised that this is a private let and we therefore accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or accident whether personal or otherwise suffered by you while staying at the apartment and recommend you take out suitable insurance before travelling.
The apartment price is for 2 people sharing the bedroom. If there is a need for the sofa bed we will charge €15 per person for laundry of towels and sheets.
