Home description

Beautiful Spanish-style ground floor apartment (no steps). The heated pool is only steps from the front door. The living room leads onto a large sunny terrace, which overlooks a quiet courtyard full of tropical plants and trees. The apt. is very spacious and has all the mod cons including washing machine.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and lies 200km off the coast of Africa, thodugh it belongs to Spain and has Spain's highest mountain, Mount Teide. Tenerife enjoys virtually continuous sunshine with daily temperatures ranging from typically 24 C in the winter to 34 C in the height of summer. There are several theme parks and attractions close to Los Cristianos, including the new Siam Park (biggest aqua park in Europe) and the older Aqua Land with dolphin show, Jungle Park, Monkey Park, Donkey Park, Camel Park, dolphin and whale watching trips from the harbour, ferries to local islands, quad biking and plenty of local entertainment. There are five championship golf courses, four of which are located in the south of the Island including Golf Del Sur, Amarilla Golf, Golf Costa Adeje and Golf Las Americas. The north of the island is greener and cooler with a more traditional way of life. Tenerife's largest zoo, Loro Parque, is in Puerto de la Cruz in the north.

Los Cristianos / Oasis del Sur area

Los Cristianos is in the south of the island. The Oasis del Sur area of Los Cristianos is full of good bars and restaurants plus a big Spar supermarket. It is a five minute walk from here down the hill (not too steep) to the seafront. There is a taxi rank 1 min from the complex so very easy to get taxis any time. Los Cristianos beach has white sand and sunbeds. The promenade goes around the harbour where you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. Los Cristianos has managed to keep a little of its original architecture and atmosphere as a quaint fishing village. There is a big Sunday market and the town centre has some good shopping too.

How to get there

Taxi from the Airport should cost approx €20. Just ask the driver for Royal Palm, Oasis del Sur, Los Cristianos, and get dropped of at The Rosie's Cantina (Mexican restaurant) entrance.If you're hiring a car then the route from Reina Sofia Airport to Royal Palm is simple, get onto the motorway (autopista) and follow the signs for Los Cristianos (it's about 20 minutes drive).

Apartment includes TV with satellite including all the English Channels (BBC, ITV, C4, Regular Sky and Sky Sports One), DVD player and separate CD player.
The bedroom has two single beds (which can be zipped together to make a double if preferred). There is a double sofa bed in the lounge. Highchairs and cots can be rented from the onsite management office. There is a washing machine in the kitchen, and also a launderette onsite. Sheets and towels are provided - towels are changed twice weekly and sheets are changed once weekly. NOTE: You will need to bring your own beach towels.
There is a telephone which the management office can switch on for the duration of your stay. There is a small deposit required for this. You can always receive incoming calls without paying the deposit.
You can also rent a safe.

Further details outdoors:
The terrace is 200 square foot and it's quiet and fairly private for sunbathing - it gets sun for part of the day and the heated pool is very close to the front door, sunbeds are free and there's a lifeguard. There is also a security guard on site at night. There is always plenty of parking on the quiet road around the complex.

£100 deposit required on booking with the balance payable eight weeks prior to departure (last minute bookings can be paid at the complex on arrival).

We would ask that you confirm your arrival and departure times by email to avoid any double bookings or misunderstandings.

Check-in time is 2pm (to allow time to clean apartment if there are people staying there before you). Checkout time is usually 10am but can be flexible if there is no one coming in after you and the apartment does not need to be cleaned straight away.

Conditions

If you smoke there are 2 ashtrays in the apartment but would ask that you smoke on the large patio.

If your a golfer or coming with a group I could arrange cheaper club rental , drop of to golf courses, and maybe even tee times. Just ask and I'll try and arrange it all .If your with a bigger group , I'll need some notice.

Other transport needs while staying, just ask.

Basically if you need anything during your trip we should be able to arrange it for a small fee , such as shopping , lifts to attractions or a tailored day trip etc.

The apartment price is for 2 people sharing the bedroom. If there is a need for the sofa bed we will charge €15 per person for laundry of towels and sheets.
