Located in a flat area of Los Cristianos (be careful, not all areas are flat with one being known as “Cardiac Hill”).
Parque Margarita is extremely secure complex with key access required for the main entrance.

No minimum rental period and with flexible arrival/departure days. Extend your stay to take advantage of cheaper flight days, additional day rates available.

A £50 non-refundable deposit per week (or part therof) is required upon booking with the balance required 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

A "Welcome Pack" consisting of tea, coffee, milk and orange juice is provided free of charge to ensure you have the facility to make a brew after your late night arrival when the shops are all closed.

Conditions

The Tenerife region

The Canary Islands form a volcanic group of seven main islands situated off the North African coast with Mount Tiede on Tenerife dominating the landscape.
The Mount Tiede national park is a must with its lunar landscape and a trip to the top of the crater in the cable car.
The region is famous for its bananas and tomatoes with temperatures of 18 to 26 degrees all year round, known as the "Island of Eternal Spring"
An ideal summer and winter destination, there is more to Tenerife than beaches, with the quaint villages and the ancient towns there is plenty to see and do.

The Los Cristianos / Parque Margaritas area

Los Cristianos has its roots in a small fishing village. Although dominated by tourism it still retains some of the character that makes it different from its brash neighbour Las Americas. The fishing fleet is still present as are the fish stalls, where you can purchase fresh fish daily.
The main Harbour and Las Vistas beaches are within 10 minutes stroll, through the town, both have golden sand, not normally associated with Tenerife. Las Vistas Beach has a Blue Flag Award.
Visit Loro Park/Zoo (great for the kids), the Water Park, Mount Tiede National Park or play a round of golf on the many nearby courses which are within minutes drive from the complex, or why not visit the quaint island of La Gomera on the new fast ferry from Los Cristianos port.
Whale/dolphin watching and fishing trips are available from the harbour
Scuba diving school within walking distance
Sunday Market where people travel to from all over the Island, only 5 minutes walk.
Bus station -3 minutes walk .

Shops, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk with Hypermarket (Trebol) and town centre being less than 10 minutes walk.
New large Spar supermarket opened 2009 - 5 minutes walk

15 minutes from airport by taxi. Cost of approximately 20 to 25 Euro.
There is also a bus service from the airport (less than 2 Euro) to within 3 minutes walk from the apartment

Budget flights from the UK by Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, Monarch.
Rule of thumb is that the further in advance you book the flights the cheaper they are. Very few last minute deals on flights.

Car hire available from the airport or in the Resort. Certain car hire comanies are available to book from the UK, collection from the airport and drop off at the Port in Los Cristianos e.g. "Cabrera Medina"

“Great apartments and location for young families.” I very much enjoyed my recent stay in Parque Margarita. I have been many times before and knew what to expect (never to this apartment). Being situated on the top floor, the apartment is nice and quiet. The apartment is plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small children, the stairs up to the mezzanine bedroom were out of bounds to my children as they are very steep! The apartment represents very good value for money, although Tenerife has become more expensive as a result of the € rate. Response: Honest feedback is always appreciated. When we refurbished the apartment we upgraded the existing staircase serving the loft bedroom to a “Spacesaver staircase”. These are used extensively in the UK for loft conversions and meet the standards for both UK and Spanish applications. Having said that, we would expect our clients to use their own discretion as whether to allow toddlers to use the mezzanine bedroom. As regards the cost of living in Los Cristianos, it is still significantly less than the UK and friends of ours who own property on Costa del Sol always comment how much cheaper everything is in Tenerife compared to mainland Spain.
