About the home

Newly furnished one-bedroom ground floor apartment with a brand new kitchen, very long private terrace, British TV channels, VCR, safe, microwave, automatic washer, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The complex itself has a beautiful pool with children's section, bar, cafe, supermarket, car hire shop and excursion shop.
Come to Los Cristianos for beautiful beaches, sun all year round, fantastic excursions, good shopping, excellent restaurants and bars with lots of atmosphere.
The apartment is close to the bus station, taxi rank, and there is an excursion shop and car-hire shop within the complex.
The walk from Los Cristianos along the promenade to Las Americas, Torviscas, Fanabe and La Caleta is fantastic! Don't miss the Parque Santiago underground shopping centre, and the wonderful designer shops, fountains and Five Star hotels with their grand frontages in the centre of Los Cristianos (Santiago). We provide a map with all our bookings.

Facilities

Brand new American kitchen, safe, comfortable seating, the four main British TV channels, new mattresses, lots of wardrobe and cupboard space, all new electric goods, newly decorated, ideal position within the complex, wheelchair-friendly apart from access to bath (however, the bath is lower than usual).

The long terrace has a dining table, four chairs and a parasol. There are also two sunbeds with comfortable mattresses, and a clothes drier.
The Summerland complex has disability ramps, a secure entrance and security guard on duty, a very big pool and good sun-bathing area. There's a pool bar, cafeteria, supermarket, fresh water dispenser, excursion shop and car-hire shop. Great location - close to lots of good restaurants, shops and bars, yet the complex itself is set in a quiet position.

If a group of young people, a refundable breakage deposit of £100 is required.

The Tenerife region

There is a stunning backdrop of mountains surrounding the harbour town of Los Cristianos. The nearby golden beaches have been imported from the Sahara desert. There are many trips on offer, such as a cable-car ride up the volcano Mount Teide, a nearby waterpark, scuba diving, monkey world, jungle park, ferry trips from the little harbour to the neighbouring island of La Gomera, as well as dolphin and whale-watching trips with a money-back guarantee.

The Los Cristianos area

Unlike much of Tenerife which has been purpose built for tourism, Los Cristianos has long been a little harbour town with an interesting history. The old town is as lively as ever, but there are now many bars and restaurants as well. The busy resort of Playa de las Americas is not much more than a mile away, with its many clubs and bars. The Summerland holiday complex is a 10-15 minute walk from the seafront.

Fly to Reina Sofia (Tenerife Sur) airport and take a 10-15 minute taxi ride to Los Cristianos (this usually costs 16-20 euros). Cheap flights are available from Jet2.com.
There are always taxis available from the nearby taxi rank, and they stand waiting for customers outside the airport.
Local buses run regularly between the airport and the nearby bus station.
You can hire a car from the car-hire shop in the complex.
