Home description

The 1 bedroom penthouse is located on the top floor and enjoys the best views on the complex. The large open balcony captures the sun for most of the day and overlooks the swimming pool and out to sea.

The apartment is available from any day to any day for as long or short as you like. TV's in all apartments with English channels including BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, Channel 4, SKY SPORTS, SKY NEWS etc. Full cooking facilities (hob, oven, microwave, pots and pans etc). Beautiful heated swimming pool with separated children’s pool. Ample parking. 10 minutes walk to Los Cristianos town centre and beach. Airport transfers available. Reception desk. Credit cards accepted. Tourist Board Registered.

The apartment is well furnished and have a choice of single or double beds. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath/shower. The balcony is of good size and a choice of views are available.

The Tenerife region

Located 200 km off the north west African coast, (though a Spanish Autonomous region). Tenerife is the largest of the seven main Canary Islands. Known for its diversity, Tenerife is several worlds rolled into one. The sunny tourist orientated south of the island boasts the majority of the beaches and virtually continuous sunshine. Daily temperatures range from typically 24 C in the winter to 34 C in the height of the summer.

With many attractions Tenerife's major tourist resorts (Los Cristianos, Las Americas) have several theme parks and attractions on their doorsteps, including the Aqua Park (Water Park), Ecological Park Las Aguilas, Tenerife Zoo and plenty of local entertainment. Golfer's won't be disappointed either, Tenerife is home to five championship golf courses, four of which are located in the south of the Island including Golf Del Sur, Amarilla Golf, Golf Costa Adeje and Golf Las Americas. The north of the island gets slightly more rainfall and is consequently far greener and lush with vegetation and pine forests. A number of popular attractions are located in the north of the island including the Loro Park and Zoo of Puerto de La Cruz and the alleged 2000 year old "Dragon Tree" of Icod de Los Vinos. More of the typical Canarian lifestyle has remained in the northern villages and the beautiful Canarian architecture of La Laguna and La Orotava give a real flavour of Tenerife.

The most dramatic scenes on the island are in the mountains. Traveling up the slopes which are covered in Pine forests you rise to the crater of the long extinct and partially collapsed volcano forming the Las Cañadas Amphitheatre and National Park with its spectacular lunar landscape and the towering Mount Teide (3718m) rising from its heart. Dusted with snow in the winter Mount Teide is the highest peak in Spain, a cable car takes visitors to within 100m of the summit (weather permitting) and views of all seven Canary Islands can be enjoyed on a clear day from the top. Once you arrive and experience the pleasant all year warm, sunny climate (which is, not as severe as the Mediterranean) you'll realise why the Canaries are known as the fortunate islands.


Los Cristianos / Paloma Beach area

Los Cristianos is a pretty resort situated in the sunny south of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, and only 15 minutes from Tenerife's International Reina Sofia Airport, so you can begin enjoying your holiday almost as soon as you land. The Paloma Beach Apartments are located near the headland in Los Cristianos, and within 100 metres of the sea.

Los Cristianos was an old fishing village, colourful local boats and sea going yachts still remain, but over the last 20 years Los Cristianos has been transformed into one of the most popular resorts in the Canaries. Atracting thousands of visitors every year the town has numerous hotels and holiday apartments which welcome hundreds of guests every year.

Los Cristianos town centre, (just 10 minutes walk from the Paloma Beach Apartments), is closed to traffic and pedestrian walks are bright, with dozens of open air restaurants and bars. Los Cristianos is the prime shopping centre for the south of Tenerife with a large selection of shops which cater for everyone in this Duty Free Island. Its worth noting that every Sunday there is a large market offering everything from watches and jewellery to clothes and music.

The main beach in Los Cristianos is sheltered by the harbour and has calm waters and soft yellow sands, inviting you to swim or take a trip on a pedaloe. Las Vistas Beach, located on the next bay, and just five minutes from the town centre, is one of the finest in Tenerife, with excellent facilities and breakwaters sheltering the golden sand beach.

Ferries to the adjacent island of La Gomera leave regularly from Los Cristianos harbour throughout the day. Boat trips to see whales and dolphins, the varied coastline or deep sea fishing are available on the quayside along with freshly caught fish and seafood.

Los Cristianos has no shortage of places to eat and drink, bars and restaurants line the promenade and town centre. Offering a wide variety of quality cuisine at prices that won't burn a hole in your pocket. A number of fun pubs and karaoke bars provide welcoming evening


How to get there

Take the TF1 motorway, following signs to Los Cristianos and turning off at EXIT 26. Follow the main road down to a roundabout and go straight on (second turning as you go round). You will then meet some traffic lights, carry on straight and follow the road around and down all the way to the end. You will pass a Taxi rank, the sunday market and Arona Gran Hotel, all of which will be on your right hand side. Paloma Beach is just past the Arona Gran Hotel on the left hand side of the road opposite Iceland supermarket.

Conditions of Booking

1. Payment - there are two ways of paying us:

Credit Card: Bookings paid for on credit cards are subject to a 2% charge (prior to 18/10/05 the charge was 4%) , full payment will be taken at the time of booking in EUROS - in the event of cancellation, the terms of Item 3 apply and the client will receive a refund (if applicable) based on this. The credit card charge of 2% will not be refunded.

Cheque: A Deposit of 20% is required with your confirmation by cheque payable to "D.PARKES". The Balance is Due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

2. Any Alteration to the Booking may incur and extra charge

3. Cancellations:Please read our conditions of booking on our website (contact us for the address). In the event of any member of the party having to cancel the booking.

4. We accept responsibility that the accommodation is as described in our brochure and website.

5. Televisions are supplied, with English speaking channels but we do not guarantee which channels are available at any given time.

6. Special Requests are normally met, but are treated as such (that is "a request") But these are not guaranteed and do not form any part of the booking agreement.

7. Apartments are normally available from 2pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated at 10 am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with our office.

" Accommodation superb, very well furnished and very clean...... Complex as a whole is also very good. Plenty going on in the town (15 min walk) and decent bars 50 metres away. Would definitely book again."

"Apartment was clean and had a fantastic view from large balcony area. Good cooking facilities. Friendly atmosphere in complex . Pool area nice and clean. Good for small kids. ( not much for teenagers). Have to pay for sunbeds daily. Food in small pub on complex was good and staff there were very friendly. . Have been twice and would go back. . No problem getting taxi at airport and all round a very good holiday"
