Our lovely 1 Bedroomed Duplex Penthouse Apartment, situated in a quiet & exclusive residential complex in Los Cristianos. Spacious, light and airy. Very well equipped and comfortably furnished, more like a home than a holiday apartment! A short distance from sea and the harbour, you can watch the ferries come and go from the balcony, or sunbathe and read a book on the private roof terrace and forget all your troubles. The apartment has Satellite TV with BBC & ITV, but with so much to do and explore on the diverse Island of Tenerife you might not need it. Excursions can be booked just down the road at the Estate Agents ( Sol Canarias) or you can just walk along the promenade to the centre of Los Cristianos with its lovely sandy beaches.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife is situated in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Africa. It has a warm climate most of the year, with only a few days rain a year and normally not cold! You may need a cardigan or jacket in the evening in the winter months. Tenerife is a very diverse island with lush tropical climate to the north and a more arid and hot climate to the south. There are many places of interest. I have a guide to Tenerife in the apartments' book collection. The apartment is situated at the most easterly point of Los Cristianos the apartment is next to Mount Guaza, if you look on the Interactive Map and then click on 'aerial' you will see the apartment block, and surrounding area. The area to the east of the apartment is a national nature reserve with a path leading up to the top to give you an amazing views of the local area and beyond to La Gomera another canary island to the west and Mount Tiede, which is the highest mountain in Spain, a volcano surrounded by a national park. There is a cable car to the top, excursions available daily from the estate agents Sol Canarias just down the road opposite the Arona Gran Hotel.
Los Cristianos area
Los Cristianos is a working fishing town. It has grown into a thriving town with many shops and facilities. The annual carnival is at the beginning of March. Excursions are available to the parks and out to sea for whale and dolphin observation trips. There are ferries over to La Gomera and also Madiera and La Palma which is a small canary island to the north/west of Tenerife. You can also fly to the other islands from the airport in the North at Santa Cruz.

Why not take the leisurely way by boat - Plymouth/Santander, Portsmouth/Bilbao - Drive through Spain to Cadiz then sail to Tenerife! I know people who have done it! Brittany Ferries, P & O, & Transmediterranea.

Further details indoors: Our duplex apartment is on the third floor reached by either lift or stairs. Being a duplex, the bedroom, bathroom and roof terrace are up the marble stairs (not really suitable for young children or people who have problems with stairs) and downstairs we have a large living/dining room, with balcony, nice homely kitchen, and a shower room complete with shower cubicle with massage jets, and wc. The living room has a double sofa bed, the dining table has four chairs. You may like to stay in and have a cosy meal, the kitchen has everything you need to help you prepare a meal. There is even a liquidiser!
Further details outdoors: The complex is entered via a security gate, there is also an entry phone in the apartment. Parking is available at the side of the building off road. The complex is very well cared for by the team of cleaners and gardeners with pretty flowers, plants and trees.

The keys are held by my key holder who lives just down the road a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. She is English, speaks Spanish & Norwegian.
Conditions
Couples & Families only - 25% deposit required to secure booking, remainder of rental due 8 weeks before arrival. For lets over one month I require 50% with booking, remainder of rental due 8 weeks before arrival. Please see my booking form for information regarding refunds. Due to marble staircase not suitable for small children or people who are unable to walk upstairs. No smoking allowed in apartment, except balcony/terrace.
