About the home

This modern one bedroom ground floor apartment (sleeps 2 adults/2 children) is in a superb location in the very popular Cristian Sur complex. Its sunny terrace overlooks the heated pool and relaxing gardens. The apartment is very well equipped as detailed below.

We 'fell in love 'with the Cristian Sur complex after staying there on holidays ourselves and when this ground floor apartment, overlooking the pool came on the market, we snapped it up for ourselves and others to enjoy!! We call it our little 'oasis' in tenerife and always look forward to going there ourselves. It is a most relaxing and well-kept complex with beautiful landscaped gardens and large pools which make it so enjoyable compared to the newer large 'concrete jungle' complexes. All the necessary amenities are at hand and the staff working on site are most helpful and friendly. Cristian sur is also very conveniently located in the flatter region of Los Cristianos and within walking distance of old town centre and Las Vistas beach which gives plenty of variety for evening dining out and entertainment. You'll love it too!

Here and in Playa De Las Americas you will find a wide variety of restaurants and super shops to cater for every taste. Los Cristianos bus station is also located less than 5 mins walk from Cristian Sur and here buses can be taken to any part of the island you want - including both airports.

A 10 min taxi ride or short free coach journey will take you to the new and fabulous Siam Park waterpark and Dolphinarium. Go-Karting is also available close at hand and a free minibus can be booked at reception. There are many other interesting places to visit which can be booked at the complex.

Fitted kitchen with all necessary amenities and utensils including 4 ring hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. Apartment also has safety deposit box, portable fans, satellite TV with English channels and Eurosport etc. Ironing board and iron, Patio table, chairs and umbrella.

This ground floor apartment is in the No 1 location on the complex because it is very close to all amenities including supermarket, reception, restaurant and of course the picturesque view from the apartment of the superb sundecks and pools. Plenty of sunbeds available at no charge.

The Cristian Sur complex has all you will want for a relaxing and most enjoyable holiday including reception, money exchange, internet cafe, restaurant/bar, laundrette, 2 supermarkets, English tea room serving full breakfasts, night security, beautiful well maintained gardens, 2 pools with heated and children's section, car hire and use of the neighbouring sister complex Tenerife Sur. Very good heated pool here also which is very child friendly with lifeguards. Taxi rank across the road.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is the largest and most popular of the Canary Islands because of its diversity. It is an island of contrasts with its dry, sunny south and tropical north dominated by the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide. A cable car ride can take you almost to the top where the views of the island and surrounding area are spectacular.

The south of the island enjoys a fabulous climate of year-round sunshine with temperatures ranging from 18 to 26 degrees depending on time of year. Night time temperatures are typically 15 or 16 degrees which makes for pleasant outdoor eating all year round. There is an abundance of sandy beaches and a variety of resorts to visit on the island. Tenerife has something to offer everyone, young or old.

The Los Cristianos / Cristian Sur area

Los Cristianos is a relaxed and picturesque resort which was once a small fishing village but has now grown into a popular tourist destination. It is still dominated by its harbour and fishing boats and has a daily fish market where fresh fish can be bought.

Every Sunday there is an outdoor market opposite the Hotel Arona Grand and this is not to be missed! The seafront and 'old town' are mostly pedestrianised and crammed with shops, restaurants and entertainment to suit couples and families. Los Cristianos has 2 fabulous beaches, the man-made Las Vistas beach has golden sands and shelves gently to the crystal waters of the Atlantic Ocean making it most suitable for all ages.

Los Cristianos is just 3 km from the livelier resort of Playa de las Americas and a pleasant stroll along the promenade which links the 2 resorts is a must! It is lined with restaurants to suit every taste.

Los Cristianos is in an ideal and central location for the many attractions and activities which are available in the area including:
