Home description
This studio apartment is situated on the ground floor, on a very quiet cul-de-sac at the front of Port Royale complex. It has an outside patio accessed direct from the street, down a couple of steps. There are steps leading up to the pool, which is heated in winter, and which has free sunbeds. Security gates are installed on the patio doors
The studio itself has 2 single beds, separated from the living area. It has a well equipped kitchen with full cooker, 2 ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, and iron and ironing board. There is a recently installed water heater, satelliteTV and DVD/CD player, a dining table and four chairs, also a patio table with chairs. A ceiling fan provides a cool atmosphere. FREE safe installed. There are sunbeds and pads for the patio.
The bathroom has bath and shower, and extractor fan.
The apartment is cleaned before occupancy, and linen and towels are exchanged weekly. Please provide own beach towels.
There is internet access situated in the Owners' Reception Office. Bottled water can also be purchased here and tokens for the communal washing machines. Port Royale apartments are all privately owned.
This is an ideal place for a couple or small family looking for a holiday in the quieter part of Los Cristianos.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife has all year round sunshine making it an ideal winter or summer destination.
There are many places of interest to visit, including a trip to Mount Teide, Spain's highest peak which has a cable car ride to the top. Loro Park in the north of the island provides a fascinating day out for all the family with seal and dolphin shows, parrot shows and Planet Penguin which simulates conditions in Antartica.
There are many excursions around the island and on a "round the island" tour the difference in climate between the green north and much drier south is very marked.
Los Cristianos / Oasis del Sur area
Los Cristianos still retains some of the features of its origins as a fishing village, these can be seen on the beachfront. The shopping streets and main square have a more Spanish atmosphere than its noisier neighbour of Playa de Las Americas.
Port Royale is a popular complex built in the Andalucian style, situated on the hill in the quieter part of Los Cristianos and so is ideally suited to couples/families. The complex has a communal pool which is heated during the winter months, an Italian restaurant/takeway on site, and a launderette. There are several good restaurants in the vicinity, bars with entertainment, a supermarket with cash till is close by, and taxis are readily available. The beach, harbour and central Los Cristianos are a 15 minutes stroll away, as is the weekly Sunday market. A new shopping centre has been built close by.
Attractions in the area include the Eagle Park, Los Aguillas, which is situated in the hills above the town and provides a good day out for adults and children alike with a show by birds of prey, rides for the children, etc. There is a free bus to this Park, and also to the Aquapark in Playa de Las Americas.
There are opportunities for scuba diving, and also frequent trips from Los Cristianos harbour for whale and dolphin watching. There are also excursions to La Gomera, the neighbouring island which can be seen across the bay.

Fly to Tenerife South - Los Cristianos is about 15 minutes taxi ride from the airport Local taxis are always available - fare about 20-25 euros, check price before you get in Daily scheduled flights are now available with Monarch airlines from major airports.
