The Tenerife region

The Island of Tenerife is full of different contrast's and scenic region's. There are no seasons of extreme cold or hot, average temp, 17(c) & 18(c) in winter, up to 24(c) to 25(c) in the summer month's. This makes it ideal for both Family and Friend's alike. Tenerife has beaches of soft clean sand that is sometimes black, due to volcanic influence. The great altitude of Mount Teide get's three month's of snow each year, yet it is possible within the hour , of swimming in the beach at Los Cristianos. The Capitol of the Island is Santa Cruz which is a cheerful and lively modern City.

The Carnival of Tenerife,takes place all over the Island, Parades,Concert's, Festivals and Celebration's Locally. Puerto De La Cruz is famous for the Fiesta Invierno; shows, Feast's, you soon become involved! Excursion's are many, day tour's around the Island, Camel, Jeep, full and Half day. Sea excursion's whale watching, sea fishing,. Local attraction's Loro Parque (parrots) with magnificent garden's and the largest aquariam with penguin's in Europe.Octopus Aqua Park (water theme,slides, lazy river, slides.) Go- carting for younger member's a short drive out of Los Cristianos.Banana plantation's Pearl Factory, Local market's, Los Cristianos has it all!.

How to get there

Direct flights from many UK airports to Reina Sofia airport. Plenty of bargain flight's to be had on the internet. Jet2.com, also fly from Blackpool. Also from Glasgow Flyglobe.span.com
Taxi's always available (Approx 20-25 Euros), always ask price before getting into taxi. Regular Bus Service, Bus terminal outside outside the perimeter of the San Marino. Approx 15 Mins Travelling From Airport

If Extra towels Needed a charge will be made via Jacky who looks after the Apartment. Also a safe is now available in the apartment. On the complex is a bar, which has evening entertainment most night's, and has a varied menu offering 'specials' at reasonable prices. Around the Apollo centre are various restaurant's and even a spanish tapa's with live music and dancers.
