The Tenerife region

Los Cristianos / Arona area
Los Cristianos is situated 15 km's west of the southern airport (Reina Sofía).This is without a doubt one of the most popular resorts on the Canary Islands. The artificial beaches are very nice and it has a wonderful harbour that offers fishing trips, pleasure cruises, glass bottom boats, diving excursions and ferries to La Gomera. Children are very well catered for in Tenerife. The waterparks and theme parks dotted around the south and the fantastic Loro Parque in Puerto de la Cruz are very popular. The breath-taking eagle show in Aguilas Park, a few minutes out of Los Cristianos is a big favourite. Tenerife Zoo and the Eagles Park are also within easy reach of Los Cristianos. We would say that Tenerife offers a holiday of a lifetime for the whole family and as you are guaranteed to have such a good time, we know you'll be back.
How to get there
Fly to Reina Sofia airport to the South of Tenerife. There are always local taxis available once you arrive in Tenerife - but be wary as they may try to overcharge tourists. The journey in a taxi is approx 15 minutes and the fare should be no more than 20 euros.
