The accommodation consists of 1 double bedroom with twin beds and a large lounge/diner with sofa and ceiling fan. There's a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 hob burner, microwave oven, fridge freezer and a bathroom with shower. A safe, washing machine, hairdryer and iron are also provided. Wi-Fi access available. Shared pool 30 yards away.

Ternerife has a fantastic climate with sun all year round, great in the summer and perfect for escaping to in the winter months. The island boasts a diverse landscape ranging from volcanic lunar landscapes to great beaches. There are many things to do and visit to suit both young and old.

There are delightful typical Spanish towns and villages in this area, many of which put on festivals throughout the year which are definitely worth seeing. There are many amusements nearby such as the Parrot park, Aqua park for water lovers and the Camel park and Siam park to name but a few.

“Fantastic Low Cost Holiday” We were met at the airport by John & Dee and we were made really welcome. Having booked the accommodation only 3 weeks prior to flying out, we were very surprised how lucky we were to get accommodation of the standard that greeted us on our arrival. Everywhere was very clean and tidy and the bedding and towels were changed after our first week. We used the fantastic bus service, with a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away and the regularity and punctuality of the service we could not fault it. We would recommend buying a Bono Card for the buses as you save quite a bit on the regular bus fare. The taxis are also very reliable and always spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks in the bungalow and are already looking at booking it for 2014.

“Excellent week away” Myself and my partner enjoyed a great week at this bungalow in Chayofa. When we arrived John and Dee had provided bottled water, milk, coffee and tea bags so we were able to relax straight away. The property is very clean and was well equipped. We were able to make breakfast each morning (a fully cooked breakfast is available at the country club which is 2 mins away for 5 euros) and sometimes made our own lunch too. There is a nearby shop for essentials. The apartment is in a quiet area which means u can enjoy lots of relaxation. However, you are still very close to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. The bus service is reliable and very cheap but you can also make use of the well run taxi service. The Tree House pub/restaurant is directly opposite the apartment. It is very welcoming (the staff are really friendly) and serves great food at lunch and in the evening. All sports events are shown here too. The swimming pool at the apartment was always really quiet. We had a great week at this apartment and are hoping to return later in the year.

“Really Relaxing” We have recently returned from 10 days at this accomodation and having been to 2 different properties in Chayofa can say this is the best one we have been to. The welcome from Dee was warm and very informative. The accomodation was spotlessly clean on arrival - it was like home from home plus the weather was good, there was everything you could wish for. We liked the quiet location but near enough to other amenities if you wanted them. We hired a car but apparently some people use the local bus service. We would have no hesitation in recommending this for a quiet relaxing holiday and will certainly be returning next year.

“Excellent holiday accomodation” We staed at the bungalow Jan 05/29 One of the best holidays we have had in Tenerife. Lovely quite area were bungalow is. Garden gets the sun most of the day, we could sit out and have a lovely read in the garden. And when we wanted to go out bus service was very good indeed, just a 5 min ride to the lovely resort of los cristianos. if you wanted to go further afield you only had to wait at the bus station for a few minuites (bono card recomended for bus traveling. John & Dee were very accomodating if you wanted anything they were nearly always on hand for you. The both of us would certaily recomend the bungalow if you were staying in Chayofa. There is a supermarket just up the road, and a tennis club for the energetic which we were not.there are also 3 very nice places to eat witin 2 mins of walking. All in all we had a great holiday, thanks John & Dee.

“Bliss” I have been using this accommodation with my family for some 7 years now and have no hesitation in recommending it as an ideal location for a quiet, relaxing, “away from it all” type of holiday. The bungalow is sited within a very attractive and peaceful residential area, with pleasant local restaurants and bars close at hand for those who do not wish to stray too far from base. However, access is easily available to the resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas via local buses, taxis, or car, for a wider choice of shops and nightlife – which is what we tend to do as a rule i.e. lounging around the pool during the daytime, taking a bus into town at night, with a return bus or taxi journey. As a religiously dedicated sunbather of almost professional standard (I kid you not!), one particularly gratifying aspect is the constant availability of sunbeds around the pool – and believe me, this is an absolutely critical requirement in my case! Its residential situation renders the need for the “dawn raid” requirement of the traditional package holiday to reserve your chosen hotspot completely redundant, and I can testify that not once in the last 7 years have we been unable to get sunbeds no matter what time of day we chose to make an appearance. Even at weekends, when you would expect the pool area to be busier with some of the residents off work, it has never once been a problem. The bungalow is always spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival, equipped with all you could ever need in terms of household appliances and equipment: fridge, cooker, microwave, toaster, washing machine, tv, dvd player, and wi-fi access etc, and the Glovers are always pleasant, friendly, and helpful hosts. The fact that we have repeatedly returned year upon year says it all really – I feel spoilt to some degree and would not wish to return to the package holiday format at any time soon having had a taste of this

“A perfect retreat” I have just spent a week at this lovely bungalow. Very spacious, clean and quiet. Made very welcome and the complimentary water, beverages etc on arrival was great. It was like home from home with the bonus of lovely weather. Easy to catch the bus down to Los Christianos. Chayofa has a great bar called the Tree House with excellent food. Also enjoyed jazz band outside La Finca Art Gallery - all within 5 minutes of bungalow. I will definitely book again.

“Does exactly what it says on the tin” Very clean, well equipped bungalow in a quiet location, yet a few kms away from the busy Playas de Los Cristianos & de Las Americas. Although not 100% necessary, we would recommend car hire for ease of shopping and touring. Can not add more to comments made in review 1 dated 15.09.11 which said it all !

“Home from home!” The bungalow which is exactly as described in Holiday Lettings, very clean and well furnished, is situated in Chayofa about 10 minutes by bus or taxi from the hubbub of Los Cristianos, close enough to experience the nightlife but far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility where you can sit outside in your own terrace without feeling that you are a tourist. You also have the key to the private pool where you can enjoy the fact that you don't ever have to fight for a sunbed - you may even find like we did that you had the whole pool to yourselves. Bliss! On this our second visit we were also delighted by the new English owned 'Tree House' restaurant, 100 metres away from the bungalow - good food, pleasantly served in a friendly atmosphere (PS They even have their own curry night if you fancy that). The owners (in particular Dee) are very helpful, without being intrusive, and always ready with a bit of crack! PS Take time to read the yellow file, which has been carefully prepared, and which contains all the information you will need from maps of all areas, the opening hours of the nearby supermarket to bus timetables, markets in all the neighbouring areas eg El Medano, Los Cristianos, Playa San Juan, San Isidro etc etc etc. Will definitely be back!
