About the home
This spacious one bedroom apartment sleeps 2/4 persons and comprises one double bedroom with twin beds and fitted wardrobes, bathroom with bath/shower, wash hand basin and W.C, kitchen with hob/oven, microwave and fridge/freezer, dining area with seating for 4 persons, lounge with satellite TV (English channels available) and two double sofa beds. The balcony overlooking the pool is furnished with a table and four chairs.
The apartment is within Los Cristianos, an ideal family resort with three fantastic beaches and a busy fishing port. The promenade and adjoining streets are traffic free and have an excellent choice of restaurants and bars.
The keen shopper will be well catered for with ample duty free shops and gift shops, as well as the famous market held on Sunday's. Taxis are cheap and always available. Just a short taxi ride away, the neighbouring resort of Playa de las Americas is much livelier, with a threatre, casino and for those looking for all night entertainment, there are numerous show bars and nightclubs.
All in all, this is a fantastic apartment in a lovely location.
Our apartment is fully equipped for your self catering needs with fridge/freezer, microwave, hob and oven. Other benefits include spacious dining / lounge areas with 2 double bed settees and satellite TV.
Onsite facilities include large heated swimming pool with children's section (lifeguard on duty between 9am and 6pm), ample sun terraces, bar, restaurant, snack bar, lovely gardens, 24 Hour Reception, laundry room and tennis court.
Weekly change of linen and towels is included.

The Castle Harbour complex has a 24 hour reception. Internet and Wi-fi are available for a charge. For those holiday makers who have a late flight, luggage can be stored at reception and complimentary shower and changing facilities are available.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife has all year round sunshine, with day time temperatures peaking in the summer months at around 30 degrees and rarely falling below 20 degrees during the winter months.
The island is dominated by Mount Teide, a volcanic mountain which is snow capped in the winter months. The island contrasts between the lush, green northern areas with its resort of Puerto de La Cruz and the south, which is drier and contains most of the familiar holiday resorts.
Car hire is relatively cheap and it is well worth exploring the islands beautiful scenery.
The Los Cristianos / Arona area
Their are numerous local places of interest - at the apartment we have a visitors guide with leaflets.
Within 10 minutes drive of the apartment, their are two waterparks, Siam Park which has slides, flumes, wave machines and a large man-made beach and the Aqualand in Coste Adeje, which has slides, flumes and dolphin shows.
The fishing port at Los Cristianos also offers many boat trips, including the cliffs at Los Gigantis, dolphin and whale watching. From the port you can also take a short ferry ride (approx 30 mins) to the neighbouring island of La Gomera, to see an unspolit Canary Island.
The Christmas and New Year festivities are fantastic in Los Cristianos. The local streets are decorated with beautiful poinsettas, Christmas trees and fairy lights. The New Year festivities culminate with a firework display in the old town square.

Our accommodation is approximately 15 minutes from Tenerife South airport.
Most budget airlines now offer daily flights from the UK and Europe to Tenerife, such as Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch Airlines, BMI Baby. Some tour operators also offer flights, such as Thomson, Airtours.
Car hire is available from the airport if required. We have found some the most competitve companies are Auto Europe, Record Rent-a-car, Cicar, Auto Reisen and EasyCar. Our advice would be to use the internet to select the most competive deal at the time for your stay.

Guestbook for Castle Harbour
We had a fabulous time. The weather was great and the kids loved the heated pool. We will be returning again in July 2010 for another fantastic holiday. Mr & Mrs W, December 2009.
This is our fourth trip to this apartment. We love its location, only a short walk to some lovely restaurants and bars but quiet at night! We will be returning again next year for another dose of sun, sea and relaxation. Mr & Mrs H, February 2010.
