Popular ground floor apartment suitable for up to 4 persons( + 1 free child), accessed by 5 steps down from the terrace. The apt has 2 bedrooms( 1 twin-bedded & 1 smaller, double-bedded room) both with ensuite shower room & wc´s, plus a sofa bed in the lounge. The apt has a very sunny terrace, on a delightful quiet family complex with a heated swimming pool and free sun beds.The very popular Bella Roma - Italian Restaurant is on site. Or take a stroll to the beach about 15-20 minutes away, in Los Cristianos; which still retains its fishing village charm. Here you will find the very best of restaurants and local bars with live music & serving fresh fish & other fabulous dishes.

Please note that the smaller bedroom has a standard double bed sited against a wall, so is recommended for 1 adult or 2 children who can share a bed

We have been advised that internet facilties are no longer available at reception. There are many bars with WIFI and internet cafes nearby.

Special prices are available from reception for all trips & sightseeing tours of the Islands & shows in the evenings.

Please note that this is a private apartments and all cleaning and maintenance requests should be directed to the Housekeeper, whose number can be found in the apartment.

Port Royale is very attractive resort & boasts a large heated pool with sunny terraces & FREE SUN BEDS! There are delightful restaurants & bars with live music & excellent home-made food within walking distance.The complex itself is quiet & secluded yet only a 15-20 mins walk to the beach & to the harbour town of Los Cristianos.

We have 2 identical apts , side by side, on Port Royale which are very useful for larger groups.

Deposit £100 per week to reserve ( £200 per week for xmas weeks), & the balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. Prices are from £235 for 2 persons to £370 for 4 persons depending on season ( 5th person...extra using the sofa bed in the sitting room for a charge of £30.) Payments may be made in sterling pounds in euros. Please check the price panel for your chosen dates.

Extra days are available should you wish to add a day or two onto your holiday, from £30 to £55 depending on season and no of persons. We offer a special 4 weekly price for clients who book for 4 weeks or more -.The prices are from £790 for 2 persons to £1170 for 4 persons depending on season , includes weekly linen change and bathroom tidy. No other cleaning is provided. Visitors are most welcome. between £50 and £70 per person per week up to maximum occupancy, depending on season.

If you enjoy an active night life there are numerous theatres, including the famous Pyramid Ballet Spectacular, restaurants & venues for live music.

"Value for money"

The Port Royal is situated in a very quiet area, ideal if you just want to get away from it all. however it's only down fall for some, it is up a very large hill. But this suited us because my wife and I enjoy walking. The equipment within the apartment is modern and everything you need is available. During our month stay there was a problem with one of the toilets, but once it was reported it was fixed in hours. The apartment owners were very helpful with whatever our request was, they were always available and very helpful. On returning to the UK I found that I had left an expensive item in the apartment, I informed them and within days they had posted it back to me. Many thanks.

"Fantastic Winter Break"

The 2 bedroomed apartment is lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped but both bedrooms could do with a few more decent coat hangers. The apartment itself is in an ideal location (even though a bit hilly) with brilliant views overlooking Los Cristianos and the sea. We were met at the apartment by Nancy where we did encounter a problem getting into the apartment due to Nancy not having the right set of keys. However, Nancy was on the case straight away and after a wait of approx 45 mins on the sunny patio we managed to get into the apartment.

Overall, the apartment is very well equipped, well furnished and is in a superb location. Considering what we paid for the week, we could not ask for any thing more.

Thank you for your review - your comments about the coat hangers have been noted and new ones purchased!!!. The owner is mindful of the fact the area is a bit hilly, which is why she offers the taxi allowance off the published price.

"not for the faint hearted."

We have stayed in the port royal for 8weeks, when we first went in the manager could not do enough if we had any problems they was delt with within the day..... Next door is owned by the same lady but… More

My apologies for not replying to this sooner, I have been in the UK since 22nd May attending to my housebound 87 year old mother.
I am deeply depressed at this client's comments.
The client points out the hilly nature and need for taxis - this information is contained within the details on holiday lettings and it is the client's responsibility to read this information before booking. I did discuss this with the client's husband before taking the booking, and he said they were avid walkers and the hills were no problem to them. So I do not understand why she mentions this as it has no bearing on their complaint - they knew about this before they booked. They are not OAP's so the reference to OAPs is wholly irrelevant.
Our policy is to insist that clients make themselves aware of all the information before committing to a booking.
Each time this client has contacted us with a problem, and these have been numerous during their 8 weeks:
a) It has NEVER been too much trouble
b) The problem has been dealt with in an efficient and timely manner
I completely reject the inference that because there were only 4 days left of their stay that I could say what I liked - this is just not the case, and if the client is honest, she knows this. This was an unnecessary and spiteful thing to say.
My cleaner has mentioned to both the client and myself over the course of 8 weeks that the lights were left on all over the apartment even when there was no-one in. The cleaner herself has changed countless bulbs during the 8 weeks.
The client has scored us a 4 for directions to the property and ease of collecting the keys - has she forgotten that I researched and emailed them with all the details on how to get from the North Airport, or that I personally collected them from the bus garage in Las Americas and took them directly to the apartment with their keys at no cost to themselves?
I would also like to point out that because of the length of their stay, my cleaner has been particularly attentive - well above and beyond the call of duty or what she gets paid for - she has left extra towels, washed and changed throws - all at her own expense.
With regard to someone going into the property without her knowledge - I can only apologise for this and say that our policy is always to inform the client and the maintenance team are aware that they should always leave a note. We have taken steps to make sure this will not happen again, and the maintenance person is no longer on our preferred supplier list.
I would say that the " bits lefted all over the bed", turned out to be 1 metal retaining clip that had popped out from a halogen bulb in the ceiling.

"Good winter break"

Port Royale is not for old or infirm as it is located at the top of a half mile hill. However taxis are cheap from the front (3 euros) so don't be put off. Plenty of bars and shops etc - but not within hearing! Apartment has Sky sports 1 and 2 (essential for the long stay people) and most other digital channels.
Nice to have 2 shower rooms - no arguing with the wife there- but both are small, wouldn't suit a 18 stone 6 footer. Kitchen has 4-ring hob plus stand-alone oven and microwave. Utensils fine but could do with additional ovenproof and micowaveable containers.
Patio is in full sun from lunchtime onwards and it is nice being able to recline on a proper sofa rather than plastic loungers.
The only disappointing thing about our holiday (5 weeks) was the weather but the apartment owners couldn't do much about that!
