Casa Mia is only five to eight minutes walk to the beach or alternatively you can spend the day at large communal swimming pool with separate children's pool. There is air conditioning in the lounge. Full English TV and DVD player for those nights in with a glass of WINE!

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
COSTA CALIDA - "THE WARM COAST" The Costa Calida, by which name this section of coastline is known, boast the attraction of Europe’s largest saltwater lagoon, the Mar Menor, that abound with wildlife particularly at the Northern end of the lagoon which is home of thousands of flamingos during their Autumn migration. The Costa Calida area is also blessed with approximately 3.000 hours of sunshine a year.
Murcia -the hidden treasure Murcia is one of the smaller regions of Spain and nowhere is more than about one and a half hours from Murcia Airport (San Javier) which is located on the coast of the Mar Menor. The city boast many fine old shops on cobbled streets and the recently opened huge shopping centres including Primark and Ikea!
Los Alcazares / Albatros area
LOS ALCAZARES (MAR MENOR) The Spanish holiday town of Los Alcazares is situated in region of Murcia fronting onto the beautiful calm waters of the Mar menor which is an inland sea out to the La Manga strip. The area is reputed to be the healthiest place to stay in Europe because of the theraputic qualities of the salt lakes and the reknown healing qualities of the mud flaps. There are sandy beaches within a short walk and a long promenade where you will find some local cafe bars and the old harbour. There are many local Spanish tapas bars which are busy day and night. There are plenty of supermarkets and even an English butcher for all your needs. The airport is less than five minutes away. There are local markets on a Tuesday and Saturday.There are many fine golf courses with a few minutes drive the newest being the Lomas Del Rame 18 hole municiple course with its many lakes only five minutes drive away.
How to get there
The property is situated only five minutes car ride away from Murcia Airport and 50 minutes away from Alicante airport. Both of these airports are serviced by the cheap airlines companies such as Ryanair nad easyjet and many more. Local buses go to Cartagena and Murcia tickets are very cheap. car hire is available at the airport or locally although is definitely not necessary.
