About the home
Roda Golf is a great success story in Murcia, a few minutes from the Mar Menor which has lovely beaches, and safe warm water.
The apartment is 5 minutes by car to the sea and the small town of Los Alcazares. The local food and restaurants are excellent, with fresh fish from the supermarket which would make you want to BBQ almost every night. The resort is immaculately maintained and the adjacent new golf clubhouse, open to all, enables you to eat and drink well without bothering with a car. A roof terrace Night Club is open during the summer months at the Clubhouse.
Alicante and Cartagena are not far away, as is La Manga. Roda Golf also has, in the summer months, a superb Beach Club on the La Manga strip, and the Mediterranean sea is then 20 metres away.
The apartment is a wonderful base from which to chill out and enjoy Spanish living only a few hours away from the UK -- 5 minutes from the airport is pretty good too!
The Golf course is a Dave Thomas design, par 72, and good deals can be had from the clubhouse. Roda houses the HQ of the PGA in Spain, and has an excellent driving range, plus expert tuition. Green Fees are very reasonable. There is good availability and deals to be had on many other local courses -- we can advise on that.
We have 1 each gents and ladies set of very good quality golf clubs which can be used by clients, which will save a fortune on Ryanair carriage charges!
There is a small mini market on site with for a good range of standard provisions, wine and beers -- very handy!
We can arrange for you to be met at SanJavier airport and taken to the apartment. We can also arrange, through our contact at RodaFM, sightseeing trips, alternative golf courses -- do check out www.rodafm.com to see the services offered. Any arrangements made with Maggie at RodaFM are payable locally.
Access to our roof terrace is by a metal spiral staircase.

King size double bed, 2 single beds and a leather bed settee enable 4 adults and 1 child to comfortably stay. All dining tables are for 4. 32" Samsung TV and satellite system, plus DVD player, which plays CDs
Lots of glasses and crockery. Very tastefully furnished -- not the standard Roda package! Air con is good as is the heating system in winter. There is an underground car park to keep the car cool, as does the pergola on the roof terrace for humans! Lift operates to all floors. Access to roof terrace is via a spiral staircase - requires you to take care, but ensures you do take care!
There are electric security shutters on all patio doors and bedroom windows -- the whole of Roda Golf is gated and has security patrols.
We have added free Wi-Fi/ Internet, and now have a meter for our air-con -- normal use will cost nothing, but leaving it on 24/7 will! Extra meter cards readily available at modest cost.
Further details outdoors:
Good golf course on site, not extortionate, and many excellent value restaurants within a 2K radius. The sea is great for children, warm and shallow. Good cycling in the area and Murcia City is a must, as is Alicante. Local buses go to both cities.

A 10% non-refundable deposit is required upon your booking being confirmed with the balance required 6 weeks before travel. Please, if you have to cancel for any reason, advise the owner as early as possible to allow us to re-advertise the let.
There is a departure cleaning charge of £50, in addition to the rental cost, to cover our ladies scurrying around to make it immaculate for the next occupants -- payable with the balance.
4 Beach towels will be provided -- save your packing space!
A refundable deposit of £100 is payable with the final balance payment to cover any accidental damage, breakages and losses. This will be refunded following a satisfactory inspection immediately after your departure.
If you use our meet and greet service at San Javier Airport, our keys will be handed to you there -- otherwise we will arrange directly with you for key collection and directions in advance of your arrival.
The Costa Calida region
The resort is on the Costa Calida on Spain's south-east Mediterranean coast. The climate is glorious with 300 days of sunshine a year and the local area of Murcia is rich in cultural and natural wealth.
If you're looking for natural surroundings where you can escape from the stresses of ordinary life, look no further than Roda Golf and Beach Resort.
The Los Alcazares / Roda Golf area
Between two seas -- the Mar Menor -- a calm sea of peaceful water and the Mediterranean. Open sea with extensive beaches and you will find San Javier and Los Alcazares particularly equipped for water sports and Golf, as well as an extensive, and year long range of leisure activities.
The international Jazz festival, the Theatrical Festival, the San Blas Pilgrimage and the Carnival are examples of the local residents enthusiasm for a party. Cartagena, Cabo do Palos, La Manga, Alicante, Murcia City are all within easy reach.

Less than 10 minutes from San Javier (Murcia) Airport, which is served by Ryanair, Jet2, Easyjet -- check for departures from your local airport.
Alicante is an option, but the travel time to Roda is about 50 minutes, mostly on motorway.
We can arrange a 'meet and greet' service' from San Javier airport at a very modest cost and you will be able to hire our own Spanish registered, L/H drive VW Polo at a very reasonable price.

A totally beautiful penthouse apartment worth every penny. Had a amazing time at the roda,Everything you could possibly want and more.David and Linda the owners were the most helpful people in the world.Beautiful roof terrace with BBQ and a hammock to die for!
