This modern frontline penthouse apartment. is south facing, so is bright & airy throughout.

It is maintained & furnished to a very high standard & has full air conditioning & central heating.

There is a large rooftop solarium enjoying sunshine all day long, but a pergola is available for shade from the sun.

A gas BBQ, dining table/chairs & 4 sun loungers are supplied, meaning the solarium can be used from breakfast to bedtime.

From the solarium, on one side stunning views can be seen over the PGA Roda golf course to the mountains beyond & out to the sea of the Mar Menor. The other side overlooks the communal pool & gardens with views to the countryside behind.

The pool & gardens area is a pleasant setting for swimming, sunbathing & relaxing & is seldom busy even in high season.

The entrance door to the apartment opens into the lounge/dining area which has dining & seating for 4 people, together with a TV;DVD player & i-pod dock.  From there a patio door leads out to the sun terrace where there is  another comfortable suite consisting of a rattan settee, 2 chairs & coffee table suitable for 4. From here there are beautiful views over the golf course.There is also a patio door from the master bedroom out onto the balcony, with more stunning views of the golf course. Stone stairs lead from here up to the roof top solarium.

There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed & one with 2 singles (which can be converted to a double). 2 bath/shower rooms are also available. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge, cutlery, crockery, etc.

There is underground garage parking for extra security & shade from the sun.

The on-site club house has restaurant & bar facilities offering both bar snacks & a full restaurant menu. There is free Wi-fi access at the club house. A small convenience shop is also on site. Sports facilities apart from the golf include a gym, tennis, basketball & 5 a side football.

Outside of the complex, the town's main square is approx. only 1.5 km away. Here there are plenty of shops/supermarkets. bars & restaurants & taxis are available to/from there. The beach is approx 3.0km away.

Inside the apartment, the lounge is bright & airy due to the large patio doors leading out to the sun terrace. It is equipped with a 32" flat screen satellite TV with British channels; DVD player; & i-pod station. There are 2 comfortable leather settees & a dining table & chairs for 4 people.

The kitchen with an open breakfast bar into the dining area, has an oven & hob with extractor fan; fridge freezer; dishwasher; washing machine; iron & ironing board; kettle; toaster; cooking utensils;cutlery, crockery & glasses. A vacuum cleaner, brushes & mops are also supplied.

The master bedroom has a double bed & en suite facilities, with good space for hanging & storing clothes. A valuables safe is located in one of the wardrobes. The en suite has a bath/shower & a window for natural light & ventilation. Bed linen is supplied for both bedrooms & duvets are available for the cooler months.

Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds (which can be converted into a double bed) & a fitted wardrobe.

The main bathroom has a toilet, wash basin & fitted shower. it also has a window for light & air. Both bathrooms have shaver sockets, heated towel rails & bath & hand towels are supplied. A hair dryer is also available.

Outside from the lounge is a sun terrace with a comfortable rattan suite of a settee, 2 chairs & a coffee table for relaxing with a cool drink & snacks.

Upstairs from the terrace is a very large solarium for sun bathing & al fresco dining. 4 luxury sun loungers, a large matching patio table, with 4 chairs & a drinks table are available there, together with a gas BBQ. There is a pergola for those who may require shade from the sun. Beach towels are supplied for use on the sun loungers.

The solarium gives stunning views across the golf course, the mountains & out to the sea of the Mar Menor.

A communal pool and gardens are at ground level, just at the exit door from the apartment block. This can be viewed from the solarium.

Underground car parking for extra shade & extra security is available. There is a lift from there up to the floor where the apartment is located.

The Costa Calida region

The Costa Calida is located in the southeast corner of Spain and incorporates the Mar Menor, Europe's largest salt water lagoon created by the spit of land know as La Manga.The local geography is defined by an incomparable natural environment of quiet, shallow waters, accompanied by multiple contrasts of dry and irrigated land, plains and mountainous zones, coast and interior, vineyards and plateaux.

The climate conspires to provide the ideal environment for enjoying Roda, with an average annual temperature of 18 degrees C, not falling below 10 degrees C in the cold season.The area has less than 40 days rain a year and the sea temperature rarely falls below 18 degrees C, making it ideal for water sports activities.

Los Alcazares

Los Alcazares is situated in the Murcia region of south-eastern Spain, on the western shore of the Mar Menor. There are many bars and restaurants in the area, specialising in sea food and Spanish tapas. Supermarkets and shops are widely available. There is a beautiful 8 km promenade stretching along the beach from one end of Los Alcazares to the other. Bars & restaurants are spread along its length.

Roda Golf Course is an 18 hole, par 72, PGA course designed by Dave Thomas. It is the first club in the region to attain the ISO 14.001 environment award.The club house is managed by the prestigious De Vere group. It overlooks a large lake and serves a variety of drinks, bar snacks & restaurant meals.

There are a number of communal swimming pools available for the use of residents.

The private Beach Club is at the tip of the La Manga strip on the Mar Menor. There is a bar and restaurant, together with locker & changing facilities. As well as the swimming pool, complete with sun loungers. The beach club is only open in the high season. It is approx an hour's drive around the Mar Menor & there is an entrance charge of approx. 10 euros per person.

"Lovely bright appartment, beautifully furnished & equipped, with great views"

This is a beautiful apartment in a good location at the back of the complex, so more private & less busy than other areas of Roda Golf. We had a lovely time there. It is furnished & equipped to a high standard and had everything we needed for a relaxing self catering holiday.
The gas BBQ on the roof solarium was great & we spent many happy hours there enjoying the views over the golf course.
We found a short cut to the club house, so were able to walk there in 10 minutes. The beach, restaurants & bars were only a short drive away.

"Beautifil apartment - high quality accommodation, very clean & well maintained."

We had a marvellous holiday in this excellent apartment. The furnishings were to a very high standard e.g. leather settees, etc. The very large rooftop solarium was a tremendous facility. It was well equiped with four sunloungers, a gas BBQ & dining table & chairs.
We enjoyed sunbathing here during the day & watching the golfers on the course. There was a pergola when we wanted some respite from the sun, which was very welcome. In the evenings it was great to be able to sit there & relax over a glass or two of wine, before enjoying our BBQ. The gas BBQ was very convenient - quick & easy, with none of the mess from a charcoal one.
The communal pool just downstairs was very convenient to cool off in when we were too hot. The excellent air conditioning was also a great benefit in cooling off.
We would certainly return to this apartment & would recommend it to others.

"Luxury indeed, nice ambience and so well presented"

Having stayed at another villa belonging to Colin and Carolyn we deceded to try this apartment for a change. It was everything we expected from the owners. It has thier stamp on it. Excellently appointed, beautiful location and views. Everything you would need is so close at hand however a car is an essential. We were aware of the proximity of a major road but living near to something similar at home it did not bother us at all. If anything we hardly noticed it. Cant fault anything during our stay. I have already recommended this property to friends who are planing to visit this year.

"Lovely apartment in a very pleasant location"

We have stayed in this apartment twice now and on both oaccasions had a great holiday. The accommodation is for 4 people but we were only two which was great as we had a bathroom each - heaven! The location is good as it is at the end of this huge complex so feels quite open. It overlooks the golf course and you can see Los Alcazeres only a very short drive away where there are plenty of restauarants for all tastes and eating out ,literally, is wonderful. The resort is predominately for Spanish holiday makers but lots of Brits also. If you want the beach there are several to coose from but you defintiley need a car. The airport is only 10 minutes away so there is some aircraft noise and from the motorway but we didn't find it a problem at all. The nearest supermarket is just a 5minute drive away. Plenty to visit for sightseeing but our daughter and family were staying in Los Alcazeres so we were there to enjoy a family holiday, relaxing, swimming and eating out together, We shall definitely return in the future.

"Lovely apartment, shame about the motorway noise 300 m away"

The apartment its self is absolutely lovely, we live in central London and wanted to get away from the noise and choose this apartment as the photo's look nice, Its brilliant if you like golf. they do it justice the only issue is that the apartment is about 300m from the AP-7 . apart from the motorway noise its a nice place, a little remote but you can get anywhere quickly as its well connected to major roads.

We are pleased you recognised that ours' is one of the more luxurious penthouse apartments.Disappointed, but glad that your only negative comment was to do with something outside of our control.We have never before had any negative comments or complaints about traffic noise.Possibly you were unlucky with the wind direction.
