This is a recently completed luxury apartment with an outstanding location on one of the best PGA golf courses in Europe. Whilst a car is not essential, as all the amenities are close by, we imagine that you will want to explore this magnificent part of Spain and recommend you take advantage of the cheap car hire at San Javier airport.
Please bring your own beach/pool towels. Being a ground-floor apartment you simply step from the private sun terrace into the pool. Several play area are available on the resort for children and fully equipped with slides and climbing frames.
A patio table with 4 chairs completes the outside furniture - the perfect setting for breakfast and evening drinks.

Smoking is permitted, but only on the terrace or outside the apartment

The Costa Calida extends along 250km from the beach of Carolina in Aguilas, a few kilometres from the province of Almeria, to the beach at El Mojon on the boundary with Alicante. This stretch of Murcian coastline is blessed with 315 days of sunshine a year and an average summer temperature of about 28 degrees and even in winter the average is about 18 degrees.
The area offers a diverse selection of activities for the visitor including all manner of water sports, hiking, hill-climbing and much more.? Encompassed in the Costa Calida is The Mar Menor - the “world's largest pool” and sits in the southeast of Murcia. It is a shallow lagoon of 170 square km with warm waters and gentle winds. It is known to be one of the best places in Europe to learn water sports.
The World Health Organisation describes this region as one of the healthiest places in world to live. The Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean by a narrow strip of land, in places just 100m wide, called La Manga del Mar Menor. It's sandy beaches and clear waters have made it one of the highest regarded resorts on the Mediterranean. The beaches are complimented by a huge range of hotels, casinos, golf courses, and everything a holidaymaker could possibly wish for. The Los Alcazares / Roda Golf area
Los Alcazares is situated in the Murcia region of southeastern Spain, on the western shore of famous Mar Menor. There are many restaurants in the area to suit every palate, specialities are seafood and Spanish tapas, as well as bars, cafeterias, and shopping malls.
THE RODA GOLF COURSE
The apartment is situated right on the 18-hole 72-par stunning golf course designed by top designer, Dave Thomas. During his official appointment as the resort’s golf captain, Sam Torrance, described RODA’s course as possibly one of the best in Europe. Guests can even enjoy 20% discount on green fees and at the restaurant and Beach Club, and 10% discount at the PGA Academy - so please ask when booking. The course incorporates three strategically placed lakes with extraordinary scenic beauty. RODA Golf is truly one of the prettiest golf courses imaginable, and with its exclusive Beach Club, offers the perfect holiday location for golfers and non-golfers alike.
The resort is home to the first PGA (European Professional Golf Association) amateur and professional golf academy. You can train and improve your golf using the very latest technology, including the GASP lab system, the remarkable K-Vest biofeedback system, a balance analysis system, and more. If you can’t find something here to help you quickly improve your game then we don’t know what else to recommend! So why not give it a go whilst you enjoy your holiday and enjoy 10% discount, too.
The resort also includes a superb new Club House – with its elevated scenic ‘al fresco’ dining terrace, and exquisite lounges and bars. Watch out for the live music evenings, too. Unique to resort is the RODA Golf Beach Club, managed by the De Vere Hotel group, located on the famous La Manga de Mar Menor, and is reachable by private water taxi that picks up at the resort. Once at the Beach Club, you'll be given a locker and beach towels, and then you can just relax by the private poolside and enjoy drinks and food from the bar and restaurant.

THE BEACH CLUB
Guests have privileged access to the Beach Club located on the La Manga strip. The recently completed site is wonderfully located on the Mar Menor, with exclusive facilities including restaurants, air-conditioned lounges, solarium, swimming pools, changing room and lockers (with beach towels provided free of charge), water sports, and direct access to a Mediterranean beach. (The Beach Club is closed in low seasons, so please check when booking).
Less than 1-mile away is the town of Los Alcazares with its many good quality restaurants, and bars, and the beautiful 7km beach of Los Narejos – the perfect place for water sports, sunbathing, sea views, and tapas bars.
Most importantly, RODA Golf and Beach Resort is less than 8 minutes from the local San Javier Murcia airport, making it a truly convenient resort location. The airport has keenly priced car rentals and is serviced by many UK-based air-routes.

We recommend you fly into San Javier Murcia airport, but Alicante is also an option although further away. Most of the budget airlines fly into San Javier Murcia and prices are especially keen if you can be flexible over timings.
Our holiday representatives can arrange to pick you up and deliver you back to San Javier or Alicante airport. Alternatively, car rental at San Javier airport is easy and very affordable.
From San Javier airport take the AP7 south (towards Cartagena) and after just a short distance come off at exit 786. At the end of the exit road turn first right at the roundabout and then turn right at the next roundabout. RODA Golf is just a short distance on the right-hand side. Proceed through the gated entrance, park up on the right-hand side car park, and our representatives will meet you there.

CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING - To make a booking simply phone or e-mail us with your dates. We will then send you our bank details so you can complete the money transfer, which should take 4-days, (unless we notify you otherwise). During that short period we will reserve the apartment for you. Your booking is fully confirmed once we receive your payment.
HOW MUCH TO PAY - Your money transfer should be for the full amount of the rental, (in the table above or as advised). In addition, there is a security deposit of £175 that we guarantee to return to you within 1-week of you holiday (subject to no breakages!).
CLEANING AND LAUNDRY - In addition to the rental, there is a small cleaning and laundry charge of 60 Euros which you simply pay to our local concierge at the end of your holiday. Also, we are happy to supply an optional welcome pack of basic food items for £15 - £25, simply let us know if you want this on your arrival. Beach/pool towels are not included, so please bring those with you if you plan to use the pool.
BABY EQUIPMENT - We have a comprehensive list of items including strollers, lie-flat pushchairs, travel cots, high chairs, booster seats, forward facing car seats, baby monitors, microwave bottle sterilisers, baby monitors, and electric bottle warmers. Simply reserve your items when booking.
BICYCLE HIRE - There are two good sources for bicycle hire locally at around 10€/day or 55€/week, along with a small security deposit.
