About the home

A beautiful ground floor apartment on the exclusive Roda Golf & Beach Resort, perfect for families and golfers. Furnished to a very high standard with air conditioning and central heating, there is also 24 hour security. There is a shared communal swimming pool available to residents.
The golf course is a spectacular 18-hole, par 72 PGA golf course designed by Dave Thomas, one of the worlds most prestigious golf course designers. With beautiful landscaped areas and a wide range of services offering its residents all the comforts and facilities to provide the perfect holiday.
There is also an exclusive Roda Beach Club, managed by the De Vere hotel chain and is located on La Manga de Mar Menor, this can be reached by private water taxi.
Within 5 minutes by car and a 25 minute walk is the town of Los Alcazares which has many good quality restaurants, bars and the beautiful 7km beach of Los Narejos.

The Costa Calida region

The Costa Calida lies between the Costa Blanca to the north and Costa Almeria to the south. The Murcia region enjoys on average of over 300 days of sunshine every year and average temperatures of over 20c.

The region remains largely unspoilt boasting many superb beaches and beautiful scenery. From the mountains and historic city of Murcia in the north, to the ancient Roman port of Cartegena in the south there are a variety of interesting locations in addition to the usual beach and water sports hot spots available. Soothing mud baths renowned for the relief of the pains of arthritis and rheumatism are to be found at Lo Pagan.

The Mar Manor is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe offering calm and safe waters for bathing and water sports. The La Mata nature reserve is famous for its colony of pink flamingos. There are numerous lively, small resorts and historical towns well worth a visit.

Link all of this to a Region renowned for its food and restaurants a superb motorway network and numerous top class golf courses, you have a recipe for a wonderful holiday break.

The Los Alcazares / Roda Golf area

LOS ALCAZARES is a busy Spanish resort on the Mar Menor Lagoon, with a vast array of shops restaurants, cafes and banks.

There is a small shopping mall within a 5 minute drive with a small supermarket, a variety of shops, cafes and a cinema. The town also holds a market on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. A short ride away is the beach area with a tiled, palm-lined promenade running alongside the Mar Menor Lagoon.

Further along the promenade you will come to a more lively beach area with sun beds and pedalos and further along to Los Alcazeres, a popular resort with a sandy beach, bars, cafes and shops. The whole area is very flat and is ideal for cycling or just walking.

For Roda residents there will be a shuttle bus provided to the nearby ferry service, from there it's just a short sail across the beautiful waters of the Mar Menor

Roda Golf Course is a superb 18 hole, par 72, golf course designed by Dave Thomas and offering the services of golf professional Sam Torrance. It is the first course in Murcia to attain the ISO 14.001 environment award.
The clubhouse is managed by the prestigious De Vere group. The clubhouse overlooks a large lake and serves a variety of drinks and food, a lovely place to relax. Take a look at www.rodagolfcourse.com.

The area around Los Narejos is full of lively small resorts and historical towns. From Los Alcazares pier you can take boat trips to nearby islands, view the Mar Menor by night,or perhaps take a BBQ trip. Apart from Roda Golf you have Torre-Pacheso which is 15 minutes away by car and La Manga Golf, which is 20 minutes by car plus many other well known golf courses within easy reach.

The resort is just 5kms from Murcia Airport and costs around €15 in a taxi.
Ryanair, EasyJet, Monarch and jet2.com all fly here from various locations.

Alicante Airport is only 40 minutes away by car. There are many airlines that fly here including British Airways, BMI baby, Easyjet, Monarch, Thompson and Airtours.
