About the home

2 Bedroom ground floor bungalow which is close to golf & beach and situated on a secure complex with gated access. It has a spacious living area with air con/heating. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard including LCD TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs. It also has satellite TV with 34 channels including movies, kids, news, BBC, ITV, channel 4 & 5. The kitchen, which is separate, is fully equipped and leads onto a rear patio area. There are 2 single beds in each of the bedrooms along with wardrobes and drawers, both rooms benefit from air con and heating. The main bedroom is fitted with a safe. A travel cot and highchair are available at no extra charge.
To the front of the property is a large patio area with a stone BBQ and a table with seating for 6. The complex benefits from a fantastic 20m pool with separate children’s pool and lovely gardens with water features. The bungalow is situated in a quiet area but less than 5 mins walk to the shops and restaurants. The beach is a 10 min stroll away and the nearest golf course is 2km.

The living and dining area is well equipped. It has a large single seat along with a 3 seater high quality sofa which makes into a good size double bed . There is a LCD TV with 34 Satellite channels and a DVD player along with a good selection of DVDs. A real home from home.

The dining area has a circular table which seats 4 comfortably, but the outdoor table will seat 6.

The kitchen is fully fitted and has everything you will need including fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster and sandwich maker. There is also a freezer bag and ice blocks if you wanted to have lunch down on the beach. Leading out from the kitchen is a utility area which contains the washing machine, washing line, iron and ironing board.

Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds and a safe. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. The single beds can easily been moved together and each room has air con/heating, wardrobes, drawers. A travel cot and highchair are available at no extra charge.

The bathroom has a WC , bath with shower and a bidet. All towels are provided except beach towels.

To the front of the property is a large patio area with a table, 6 chairs and a stone BBQ. To the rear is a smaller area which is partially covered making it an ideal area for keeping all your beach items. There are sun beds small beach chairs along with a beach umbrella for your personal use. There are some lovely garden areas on the complex which look wonderful when everything is in flower. The complex has a car park which is entered through electronically controlled gates

A deposit of £100 is required to confirm your booking with full payment due 8 weeks before departure. Prices fully inclusive of all linen & towels (NOT beach towels), electricity, air conditioning/heating, cleaning, welcome pack & personal meet/greet service. A travel cot and highchair are available at no extra charge. Change over day is flexible to take advantage of mid week cheaper flights (depending on how booking diary is effected). £100 refundable damage/excess clean/loss of keys bond is also required with final payment, which will be repaid within 2 weeks on agents confirmation and return of keys. Full payment is due immediately for late availability bookings (i.e. within 8 weeks of departure). There is a minimum booking of 4 nights. Airport collection and drop off service available at an additional cost (payable locally).

The Costa Calida region

Few regions are lucky enough to have a salt-water lagoon beside the Mediterranean Sea. With the many cafes and bars dotted along the beach it's a great way to spend the day and soak up the sun. Along its 73km coastline there are numerous beaches with clear, shallow water making it very safe for children. The Mar Menor lagoon covers an area of 170km2, making it the biggest salt-water lake in Europe. In the coolest months the temperature of the water is about 12°C while in August it reaches 30°C.

The Los Alcazares / Albatros area

Los Alcazares, which is pronounced Los-Al-cath-ah-res, is located next to the shores of the Mar Menor in the region of Murcia in the south-eastern corner of Spain. The town is on the western shore of the Mar Menor & has 7kms of coastline stretching from Los Narejos to Punta Brava. The blue flagged beaches along the Mar Menor are all interconnected with seating areas, fountains, bicycle lanes & access points for the handicapped. The Mar Menor is a salt-water lagoon of 170 square kilometres with an average temperature that is 5 degrees above that of the Mediterranean. Bars, cafes & restaurants provide drinks, tapas, meals & entertainment. The area enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year, which allows everyone to enjoy the mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor. The water is renowned for its health-giving properties as well as being an ideal location for water sports. Los Alcazares is also the ideal base for golfers as there is no less than 13 courses within a 35 min drive two of which are less than 2km away.

The area is very well connected for reaching a vast amount of courses 13 of which are within a 35 minute drive. La Manga Club, Torre Pacheco, Mosa Trajectum, Roda Golf (NEW), Hacienda Del Alamo, Altorreal Golf, Villamartin, La Marquesa, Greenlands Golf Complex, Real Club De Golf Campoamor, Las Rambles Club De Golf, La Finca and the NEW La Serena Golf Resort, Los Alcázares. This area is a true haven for the golf enthusiast.

Fly to Murcia from the following airports: Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Cardiff, East Midlands, Newcastle, Leeds-Bradford, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol, Blackpool, Southampton, Prestwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Shannon, Dublin, Guernsey and Kent.
The property is only a 10 minute drive from the airport and a full airport transfer service can be arranged for you. Car not essential.

“Brilliant apartment in an excellent location” We have just returned from a lovely weeks holiday in Los Alcazares. The apartment we stayed in was well equipped and ideally situated on a quiet complex. The location is perfect just 5 mins from the square which has plenty of bars and restaurants. Only 10 mins from the beach which is ideal for children. Overall a great place to stay! Patrina and Chris, October 2011. October is usually the month when things start to go quieter which makes it a good time to visit Los Alcazares if you want peace & quiet (as long as you avoid the school holiday week).

We spent 1 week at Los Alcazares and had a fantastic time.
This was our first holiday abroad with our 2 year old son and we would recommend this well equipped apartment to any young family looking for a family friendly resort.
The beach was within easy reach, as were the restaurants and bars. However, we would recommend going into the heart of Los Alcazares if you are looking for a true Spanish eating experience, as the Plaza (which is within 5 mins walk from the apartment) is laden with english style restaurants and bars.

You will not be disappointed by this very well equipped apartment

The bungalow was really nice, great location.( had beautiful weather as well ! ). The Welcome Pack was an excellent idea, especially the Wine..ha..It meant that you didn't have to run out shoping on your arrival. Los Alcazares is a nice town, not 2 british, lovely beach, plenty of restaurants, etc. Will visit again next year, definitely recommend it.

Great holiday super bungalow the photos do not lie everything we needed.Being met by Steve was great very helpful and Sue when we got to the bungalow showed us everything still with a smile even when we were two hours late! The place is superb only 10 mins to the beach and what a great beach, some great restaurants and bars only 5 mins away very frindly especially Mamma Mia's.Only one disappointment and that is some of the dates we would have liked next year are already booked!
