A mini-market has now opened on site , to purchase all the basic requirements without having to go off site.
Furthermore the brand new tennis court has opened, floodlit, alongside two paddle tennis courts with glass walls.
The golf course itself has now matured and is truly stunning , and the surrounding area now boasts some great restaurants, not to mention the new Club House itself .
At the time of writing it is great to use the free wi-fi facility, and sit with your tapas and glass of wine and enjoy:-)

The patio is south facing and ideal for breakfast and alfresco dining. The patio has stairs leading to a large and private solarium, which benefits from the sunshine all day. There are 6 sun loungers and two dining areas (solarium and balcony) for 6 people, making it a perfect relaxation and entertainment area. The solarium and patio looks directly over the swimming pool
The Clubhouse, which opened on 1st May 2008, contains a fantastic restaurant, both al fresco and inside, bar, changing rooms, sauna ,showers and pro shop.
Newly opened floodlit tennis court and glass backed paddle tennis available on site, excellent new facility.
The restaurant serves good food, with discounts for guests, with cheaper but excellent quality tapas and snacks available in the bar.
The building has a modern design and its comfortable surroundings will make sure it becomes a second home for visitors, and a place where people can meet, relax and enjoy themselves… whether you play golf or not.
This property is non smoking but smoking is allowed on the solarium.

An optional welcome pack which consists of a late night supper (pizzas, bottle of red and white wine, beers and breakfast cereals , bread to toast, butter etc) , etc are provided for 25 Euros... let us know if you DON'T require this.
No need to worry about shopping for those smaller ancillary items such as fairy liquid and dishwasher tablets, tea and coffee, sugar, soaps, loo paper etc etc as these too are also provided, but this time with our compliments :-)

The Los Alcazares / Roda Golf area
The nearest town of Los Alcázares is 2km away with a range of shops, bars & restaurants. The promenade stretches for 8km, the local blue-flag beaches are fantastic having won the Q awards for excellence & safety.
The waters of the Mar Menor are renowned for their healing properties and the water temperature is warm enough to swim even in early Spring!
Roda has recently become a PGA Academy and lessons are now available for children as well as adults.
The course is becoming increasing popular with both professionals and amateurs alike. It has hosted many tournaments including a round of the PGA Championships, with competing golfers from all over Europe, and the Spanish Junior Open. In addition, the driving range and practice putting green are both proving to be great attractions. Guests of the apartment benefit from 40 % discounts on green fees!

Our family of three adults stayed two weeks in this lovely penthouse with the main focus on golf. The location of the penthouse is excellent, close to the club house. A special bonus is the discount on green fees! |

Lovely apartment, clean and private, excellent roof terrace with 360 views around the Mar Menor, only slight down point was the spiral staircase to reach the rooftop terrace was slightly tricky if your hands were full. Great golf course and prime location for nearby Loz Alcazares with ample shops and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday |

How simple it was to step of the plane , pick up our bags , pick up our hire car , 10 mins. up the road an we were at Roda Golf resort ! Kids were in the pool within 45 minutes of landing ! The Apartment was Great and easy to find . 3 good size bedrooms , large lounge / dining area, 2 bathrooms and a well equiped kitchen. The outside space was fantastic ! a dining area where we sat and had lunch . Up the spiral staircase to the terraced roof where we spent lazing about in privacy. Great views and a great breeze late afternoon (needed at times) . Played golf regularly , 8.30 ish tee off time , back to the club house after 18 holes for lunch ! The car was essential , gave us the chance to visit the surrounding resorts. A must is to visit the Beach resort !! Amazing !! A must . We spent a lot of the time at the club house, would walk there in the evening, have drinks , dine in the large outside terrace. and end up later in the club up on the roof !
