The Beach House is a unique beach front private Villa comprising 4 self contained apartments (2 x 2 bed, 1 x 3 bed and 1 x 4 bed apartments). It has it's own 8m x 4m pool and hot / cold air-conditioning in each apartment. It is located within 10 miles of San Javier (Murcia) airport (approx 15 minute drive), and 10 minutes from La Manga club. The vicinity has a large number of high quality golf courses and is a World Health Organisation ranked location, due to high water and air quality. The apartments have been designed in a modern style, being recently fully refurbished with brand new facilities giving a light and contemporary feel throughout. In the apartments in the comfort of warm/cold air-con you will be able to enjoy Sky TV, DVD and be equipped with full kitchen facilities inc. Microwave, electric hob, oven and fridge/freezer (dishwashers Ap 3&4). You will also have access to a further communal pool, tennis courts, football and basketball courts. 5 bars and restaurants on site (within 5 minute walk, with further bars and restaurants within the local and surrounding villages).

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Costa Calida (Warm Coast) extends for 250 kilometers (150 miles) and offers sandy beaches, natural coves, nature parks and salt flats. The area on average has less than 40 days of rain per year and the average temperature in January (the coolest month) average 16 degrees centigrade.
The La Manga strip is a developed attraction for lively entertainment, however the southern and western coastline of the Mar Menor remains largely untouched and is protected by height restrictions imposed on all developments of local buildings, protecting the area from the over-development found on other areas of the Spanish Costa’s.
The area benefits from three different coastlines:
The peaceful and tranquil waters of the Mar Menor. The white sandy beaches of the Mediterranean on the La Manga strip, and, The stunning rugged coast of the southern headland, renowned for its diving attractions.
The Mar Menor (Small Sea) is formed by a strip of land known as La Manga (the Sleave), which creates a 170 sq kilometer (66 square mile) saltwater lagoon. The Mar Menor is both safe and warn (averaging 18 degrees even in winter months) providing safe conditions for recreational swimming and more adventurous watersports. It is also a breeding ground for shellfish due to the high mineral conten, accounting for the great flavour and the healing qualities of the nearby mud flats.
Los Alcazares / Los Urrutias area
The area is a World Health Organisation ranked locality due to the cleanliness and salt proerties of the Mar Menor and the clean air. The slat flats provide an ideal location for avid bird watchers, the range of championship courses in close proximity is a haven for social and hardened golfers; Watersports are in abundance and there are a range of historical sites of interest and shops and attractions for all the family.
There are numerous regular local markets in the nearby villages and the nearby towns of Los Alcazares and Los Belones provide a wide range of bars, restaurants and nightlife along with the historical cities of Cartagena and Murcia, which have a wide range of shops and tourist attractions.
How to get there
San Javier (Murcia) airport is located only 10 miles from The Beach House (approx 15 minutes drive), with Alicante Airport (to the north) about 50 miles away (approx 1 hour drive). Both airports are serviced by a range of low cost airlines from almost all of the UK airports as well as mainline carriers such as British Airways. All the airports have a range of car hire and taxi services to choose from.
Directions from Murcia Airport: Exit airport, go straight over at first and second roundabout, under motorway bridge and then left at roundabout turning onto slip road for N332, signposted Cartagena/La Manga. Take exit for Los Urrutias and road leads you back over motorway bridge, turn left at roundabout towards Los Alcazares. Turn right off road signed Los Urrutias (about 200m) and drive alongside the Mar Menor and through Punta Brava, past El Carmoli hill on the right. As you enter Los Urrutias, there are traffic lights, go straight ahead passing a pharmacy on your right. About 1 mile on, you enter Estrella del Mar Urbanisation with shops to your left and houses on the right. Turn left onto Estrella De Mar Urbanisation. To get to the Beach House, turn right into Calle Los Cipreses and then left into Calle Los Pinos, The Beach House is the last house on the right.
Approximate driving time 15 minutes.
Directions from Alicante Airport: Exit airport and follow signs to Cartagena which will take you along the N332, the AP7 toll road (2 tolls approx 3euros each depending on season) and back onto the N332. Exit at Los Urrutias and follow directions as above.

Further details outdoors: The Beach House has it's own self contained walled garden, increasing the safty and security for young children and familites. The pool is fully maintained and beach and sports equipment are available to use by guests.
