Welcome to La Casita at Roda Golf our stylish and spacious holiday home in glorious Murcia set in beautiful gardens overlooking probably the finest pool on the resort,. La Casita is also just a few minutes walk from all the great facilities including the Clubhouse and restaurant, tennis, paddle tennis, 5 a side courts, supermarket, driving range and of course the golf course. The apartment has a large terrace and the pool is easily accessed via the double patio doors from the living area. The outside space is furnished for al fresco dining plus sun loungers for rest, relaxation and sunbathing.
Roda Golf and Beach Resort , home of the European PGA Training Academy, is located near to the shores of the Mar Menor in the beautiful Murcia countryside but is also convenient for all of the area attractions that you would expect from a seaside resort such as several "Blue Flag Sandy Beaches", local restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
The Beach Club run by the Collados Group, a well known local Spanish restaurant and hotel group is open with transport from the Resort to the Club. Just book in at the Club House. A full restaurant is available at both locations as well as a Sports Bar and tapas plus free wi-fi at the Clubhouse and resort wi-fi - just buy a connection at Customer Services for the duration of your visit.

This spacious ground floor Roda Golf apartment is tastefully decorated to the highest standard offering luxurious and comfortable living during your visit to Roda Golf. La Casita has 2 twin bedded bedrooms, 1 en-suite with bath but with both bathrooms offering shower facilities. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, toaster, juicer, coffee maker, washing machine, fridge freezer, kettle and microwave. We also provide a cool box for picnics and an Ipod/MP3 docking station, plastic picnic glasses and full information about all that this glorious part of Spain has to offer. We can also offer local cycle hire and sightseeing tours and preferential car hire - please ask about this when enquiring about La Casita.
The apartment has full central heating for those cooler winter evenings and air conditioning for the hotter summer days making La Casita at Roda Golf an ideal all year round holiday location.

La Casita is located a couple of minutes away from the new Club house and is located near conveniently near to the main entrance to the Resort. Apart from several communal pools, there are also children's play areas, walking areas and cycle paths. There are also tennis and paddle tennis courts available in the local area as well as on site.
Guests of La Casita who play golf can benefit from a 20% discount on green fees as well as 10% discount in the Club House Restaurant. Full details will be sent on request and vouchers will be available at the apartment on your arrival. There are golf handicap requirements - please contact for details on the full details about the Dave Thomas designed 18 hole coursewith our Ryder C Cycles can be hired on site from our property managers and we can also arrange discounted car hire and airport transfers.. up hero Sam Torrance as the Captain of Golf.
To help us make sure you really enjoy your stay at La Casita we use a locally based management company to manage our apartment. They will resolve any problems that you may encounter during your holiday and full contact details will be given to you prior to departure.
Transport can be arranged to both Alicante and San Javier airports and we can arrange for you to be met at San Javier for a small extra charge.
Other services: Nursery equipment can be hired for an extra charge and will be delivered and set up at prior to your arrival at the apartment. Please email us to request any other services that are not covered here.
Welcome packs can be arranged and information about what can be offered will be sent out with your booking confirmation.
Our property managers will normally meet you at the resort but if you are unsure of the area, airport meetings can be arranged at a small extra charge. At the resort they will introduce you to the apartment and will also give you a brief introduction to Roda Golf Beach Resort, the surrounding area, attractions and restaurant recommendations. However, we have put together an information folder at the apartment and this will give you more information about all that the area has to offer.
Free wifi is available at the Casa Club house.

Conditions
Smoking is not permitted in the property but we do provide ashtrays for smoking outside of the apartment.
We do take a Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required on confirmation of your booking and this will be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
There is a lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access.
All guests should read the communal pool safety instructions prior to using the pool - please note that there is no lifeguard on duty and that small children should be supervised in the pool at all times.
The Costa Calida region
The Costa Calida is located in the southeast corner of Spain and incorporates the Mar Menor, Europe's biggest salt-water lagoon created by the spit of land known as La Manga del Mar Menor. During the hot summer months, the water temperature of the Mar Menor rises to that of a warm bath and is renowned for its therapeutic properties for ailments such as rheumatism and arthritis but equally it is the ideal place to take part in sailing, windsurfing, water and jet skiing as well as many other sports or just lazing on the beach.
The average annual temperature in the region is approximately 20 degrees centigrade and t and the sea temperature rarely falls below 18 degrees. Murcia is known as the "Garden of Europe" but also has stunning mountainous natural parks and beautiful scenery.
The historic cities of Cartegena and Murcia can be reached by car in approximately 20 minutes drive from Roda Golf and both offer great International and Local culture and history as well as fantastic shopping malls at the new centre of Neuvo Condominio in Murcia (close to the stadium of La Liga Real Murcia). There are numerous restaurants of all types as well as entertainment for the children including water parks and Terra Mitica (about an hour away near Benidorm).
The Los Alcazares / Roda Golf area
The 18-hole Dave Thomas designed golf course of Roda Golf Beach Resort now managed by DeVere is considered to be one of the premier golfing choices within the Valencia and Murcia regions. Because of its great location with access to superb roads and motorways, it has the added advantage of easy access to all of the other fantastic beaches and tourist attractions in the area.
The traditional mediaeval style village of Roda is situated just outside of the resort, 1km inland from the town of Los Alcazares on the Mar Menor Europe's biggest salt water lagoon famous for its therapeutic waters and mud baths. Blue flag beaches of the Mar Menor interconnect with other beaches and promenades at San Pedro, Santiago de la Ribera and many other seaside resort.
There are numerous daily markets either locally in Los Alcazares or within a 20 minute drive, all of which offer a wide choice of fresh fruit, clothing and souvenirs.
For the more active guests there is water skiing available at Los Alcazares beach as well as wind surfing, water skiing.

Los Alcazares is located approximately 4 kilometres from Murcia (San Javier) airport at which there are frequent daily flights arriving from most UK and European regional airports operated by many of the low cost and scheduled as well as charter airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet, Air Berlin, Air Nostrum, Jet2.com. You can also fly into Alicante Airport which is served by these airlines plus some of the major carriers such as Air Iberia, Monarch Airlines, Thompsonfly to name but a few.
Alicante Airport is only 50 minutes or so by car on the direct and fast motorway connection which serves Murcia and the Costa Calidafrom Alicante to Murcia and to the Costa Calida.
We can arrange for you to be met at the property or the airport by our property managers who are based on site at Roda and we can arrange discounted car hire for your holiday (subject to availability) as well as recommend dicount car hire firms. Early arrivals and late departures are also offered but are of course subject to availability at La Casita and by prior arrangement.

Your apartment is very nice and you provided a good information pack for the area, Joan loved the place, Your information details for hiring the apartment are well done and explain all the requirements etc, deposits,conditions etc. . Your location is very good also regarding entrance and club house and future facilities, The sun came round in mid afternoon on to your terrace which was fine as not too hot then. We met your neighbours two doors down who are staying full time on site and told us they love the area and he plays golf every day.
