This stunning exclusive villa south facing and 5 minutes walk to the beach is set in its own private grounds with large pool 16 x 32 ft and manicured gardens offering all the essential ingredients for your ideal dream relaxing holiday. The terrace gardens is splashed with colour from tropical blooms and variety of fruit trees. The villa has a covered terraced outdoor dining area x 6 overlooking the pool, rock garden with assortment of cacti and cascade fountain and is perfect for "alfresco", lunches, evening sundowners and a perfect retreat from the midday summer sun. There is an electric BBQ - perfect for entertaining. The villa is beautifully furnished throughout and equipped to a high standard. Accommodation comprises of two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, one with double bed and en-suite, the other with king size bed and adjacent bathroom and both are tastefully decorated with lots of wardrobe space.
The villa likewise enjoys easy access to many excellent restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shopping malls and is ideally located and suitable for holidaying in the area. In this lovely area of the Costa Calida one can do as little or as much as one wants, because everything is available.There is also a separate Apartment above the villa which sleeps 3 persons and it can be rented in addition to the villa which will allow for a total of 7 persons. Enquiries for renting both villa and apartment can be arranged via the owner regarding prices for both. Otherwise the villa and apartment at all times are rented separately so guests therefore have full private garden and pool facilities exclusively.

The Villa has central heating and the air conditioning unit also heats the property in winter. There is a large air conditioning unit in the open plan lounge area and fans are provided in all other rooms to provide coolness and comfort.
Bed linen, duvet covers, blankets towels and tea towels are supplied.with the exception of beach towels- guests must bring their own beach towels. All windows are double glazed and multi functional with security grids and mosquito blinds. Local contact phone numbers for hiring travel cots, high chairs etc. can be supplied and should be acted on well in advance of travel. The satelite T V has full sky package with over 50 channels. House rules should be adhered to, especially the rules regarding the pool which clearly states that guests must shower and remove sun blocks/creams before entering the pool. Safety Deposit Box is available upon request with a charge which is refundable on departure.
The villa has a good size fully equipped modern kitchen with marble work tops and all brand new up to date equipment. Off the kitchen there is a large bright, cool and comfortable sitting room/lounge area. There is also a separate dining room area off the lounge/sitting room. To the front of the villa there is a lovely Sun Room with sliding doors overlooking the manicured gardens with a variety of fruit trees and is the ideal place for relaxing and enjoying the winter sunshine. To the back of the villa there is a large fully equipped utility/wash room. The villa with its delightful and tranquil setting is not overlooked and guests can enjoy total seclusion and privacy. In addition, the villa scores highly because of its close proximity to the world famous Mar Menor Sea, the largest saltwater lake in Europe with its spectacular golden sandy beaches, shallow waters and pedestrianized tree lined promenade, very safe for children.

It has a full Sky package with over 50 channels and flat screened TV, air conditioning and central heating.At all times both Villa and Apartment are rented separately so guests therefore have full use of private pool and garden exclusively. Should you require the two properties for renting, this can be arranged via the ownrer regarding prices for both.Bicycles are very popular for exploring the area and can be rented locally. There are adverts for bike hire in the Post Room with internet facilities in the Marcadona Shopping Mall.

Balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure. Procedure for bookings will be e-mailed or by phone call. Once agreement of booking is confirmed by both parties, deposits are not refndable. Breakages or damage to property must be replaced or refunded. Guests are asked to read the House Rules upon arrival and to adhere to them during their stay. Should you require to rent both the Villa and the Apartment at this same time, this can be arranged via the owner regarding prices for both.
The Costa Calida region
The historic city of Murcia, 25 mins by car or local bus, with its many squares and narrow streets of shops and boutiques is well worth exploring. Murcia is the capital of the province and has its own University and offers the visitor a huge amount of interesting places to visit as the history of the city goes back to the years 800. Amongst the famous visiting points is the Cathedral de Santa Maria which is the most impressive monumnet of Murcia. The city is divided by the Segura river and is known for its beautiful Baroque Cathedral, Almudi Palace and the Castle of Monteaguida (where the Arab influence can be well appreciated). Murcia offers some of the most interesting tapas in the whole of Spain. There are a large number of bars and taverns with truly great tapas. The most popular are in the area around the Plaza de Flores (Flower Square) and the University area called Santa Eulalia. The Roman City of Carthagena is equally worth a visit, located on the coast this city has a rich historical heritage and has been strategically important for centuries. Recently opened attractions in the city include the Civil War Museum built into the rock, the Punic Wall Archaeological Site and numerous Roman relics, houses, baths and a spectacular Roman Theatre. There are also daily guided tours by bus and catamaran, and a panoramic lift offering a bird's eye view of the City and the Port with its famous Peral Submarine, the very first built in Cadiz in 1884. The village of Archena, famous for its spa baths with thermal waters is highly recommended as is the village of Jumilla, famous for its vineyards, castle, convent and churches.
The Los Alcazares / Los Narejos area
Los Alcazares is on the edge of the Mar Menor, a large inland sea, separated from the Mediterranean sea by the well known La Manga strip. The Mar Menor is a salt-water lagoon of 128 sq.km. with a sea temperature of 5 degrees above that of the Mediterranean. The area enjoys on average 320 days of sunshine per year. The coastal area is known as the Costa Calida which forms part of the Murcia region. The Arabs choose this marvellous beauty spot for their vacations and rest and reopened the ancient Roman spas that already existed in this area. They made good use of the excellent therapeutic properties of its waters and they were the ones who named LOS-ALCAZARES. The word "Alcazares" comes from Arabic (AL KAZAR) which means palace or mansion. There is a local ferry in summer that goes direct from Los-Alcazares beach to the La Manga Strip so that you can enjoy a day on the beach at La Manga. Go karting is available on the airport road from Los-Alcazares. Another local town that is worth a visit to is Santiago de la Ribera, which has a long promenade and beach that stretches 3 miles to Lo Pagan where locals and visitors alike enjoy mud bathing.There are markets in the local towns on different week days. Los-Alcazares has 2 markets, Saturday and Tuesday am. Participate in the many feasts and fiestas organised in Los-Alcazares all year round, particularly the 3 day Easter Festival with full procession, activities on the beach and a medieval market in the town.One day trips can be taken to other towns as Los Alcazares is an easy place to reach and there is a good road network. Walk or cycle along the 7km.of promenade lined with palm trees and enjoy the wonderful sea views and sea breeze. If you prefer fresh water activities, Los Alcazares has 4 swimming-pools, one of which is indoor. Within short walking distance of the Villa are numerous restaurants, El Pation II and La Roblemar are very Spanish offering good value for money serving traditional Spanish meat dishes, steaks, chicken and excellent variety of fish. Further restaurants and bars can be found in the Marcondona Shopping mall, along the beach promenade and throughout the town. You will be spoilt for choice!
Los-Alcazares is a unique seaside town full of Spanish charm and character and has been awarded the coveted blue flag of excellence and its warm water makes bathing a delight! Along the beach promenade there is ample provision of showers, toilets, play areas for children, first aid, rescue services and facilities for the disabled. The Mar Menor because of its serenity and clean waters, in addition to its favourable weather conditions, is an unequalled area for engaging and competing in most nautical sports and is considered to be one of the best areas in the world for sailing and water sports. There are a large number of nautical clubs/schools and diving centres both for the enjoyment of the expert and for beginners . For golfers, its a paradise as there are numerous golf courses within close proximity, e.g. the new Roda and Los Rames courses, both 1 mile away. The World famous renowned La Manga Golf Club and tennis courts is within 15 minutes drive. Throughout the year Los Alcazares offers the visitor boundless opportunities for sports, festivals, daily local markets, outdoor parities and shows with spectacular firework displays - there is always something happening! Los Alcazares is a Spa town and can proudly boast that it still has thermal baths which exist since Roman times! A Mud Bath is really a must and an experience.The historic University City of Murcia, the region's administrative centre is 30km to the northwest and well worth a visit as is the Roman City of Carthagena and ancient Port (20km) south and is located on the coast with its rich historical heritage. Its Roman history can be seen in the amphitheatre, castles, museums and city walls. New quayside developments have also made the new yacht harbour attractive to some of the biggest private yachts in the world.

Los Alcazares is close to Murcia /San Javier airport (less than 10 mins. drive to the Villa) which is conveniently serviced by all the low cost airlines - Jet2.com / Ryanair / Easyjet / BMI / Flybe/ Thomson. These airlines fly from many of the UK's major airports and a typical flight time would be around 2hrs 15mins. Alicante airport is only 40 mins drive via the Motor Way to Los-Alcazares and the town is very well connected to the Spanish Motorway Network region, which is excellently signposted throughout allowing one to travel with great ease. Reputable Car Hire Firms are Carjet.com and Centauro.net which offer excellent discounts, upgrades and value for money. Car Hire is not necessary for holidaying in the area. Bicycles are very polular for exploring the area and can be rented locally. The Post Room with internet facilities in the Marcadona Shopping Mall has several advertisements for hiring bicycles. Taxis are plentiful at Murcia/San Javier airport at €10.00 each way.

I would like to firstly to you that you have a lovely villa and we had a fantastic time. It's a lovely quiet location and we found amenities within walking distance. Also the City of Carthagena is just a short taxi ride away. It is a beautiful place to visit, as was the old town of Los-alcazares which we went to on the bright bus/train that runs along the main street. We would recommend it to our friends and no doubt will return again in the future. Once again, thank you for allowing us to rent our villa, it's really a beautiful home.

Just a quick note to say we had a great time in the villa. It was so depression to get up today back in England even though the weather is good, it's just not the same. We had a fantastic stay and loved the villa, the area and the beach. Andrea your caretaker was superb and very helpful at all times. The girls loved the pool and played in the pool and garden all day.

My apologies, should have done this a while ago but it has been non-stop since being back home.
We had a fabulous time. You have a wonderful house in a great area. We had a superb time and Andrea was lovely. We didn't need her, only for pick-up and drop-off. Your pool man was a character too and lovely!
We had great weather and walked everywhere. Cycled off to La Manga and made it to Los Nietos. Was a fun day until my husband got a puncture. It was a long hot walk back!!
We managed to avoid most of the other Brits and the restaurants and as food was so cheap cooked most of the time.
It was great and we shall be back. Desperately trying to find somewhere to buy there too now!!
The only suggestion we had that might help other guests is a map of the area as a lot of things we discovered in the second week ie supermarkets, spanish restaurants, boat over to La Manga etc. Both tourist offices were shut so we didn't get help there.
I have recommended your villa to a friend and I understand they should be contacting you soon.

We had a most enjoyable ten days it was a really relaxing time which is what we both wanted.
The taxi driver an English chap - Bill, who was very helpful and took us where and when we wanted, so I have put his number on the back of the cupboard door for anyone else should they need it.
Needless to say we thought the Villa was excellent and the pool great and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else.
I do hope you had a good break as I know you were going out the day after we returned.

On our last night there were even fireworks on the beach which were fantastic - what a send off! (well, we pretended they were solely for us)
