Home description
Puerto Marina apartments were brand new last year and ideal for families and couples who wish to relax or a golfers haven with plenty of golf courses including a championship one very close by. The complex is very quiet and peaceful and yet just under 5 minutes walk from the square, with banks shops and restaurants, and pedestrian precinct, leading down to the golden sandy blue flag beaches. The apartment sleeps up to six and has been furnished to a high standard for our own use during winter months, making it very comfortable and welcoming. There is a double room, twin room and large living area which leads out to a balcony overlooking two swimming pools, ideal for both adults and children.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Los Alcazares is situated in the Murcia region of South eastern Spain, also known as the Costa Calida. The town sits on the Western shore of the Mar Menor, a saltwater lagoon separated from the Mediterranean sea by a 22 kilometre long strip of land called La Manga strip.
The Mar Menor helps make the town a paradise for bathers and watersports enthusiasts. The mineral rich water of the Mar Menor is revered for its health giving properties and the town still has thermal baths which have existed since roman times. There are a few celebration periods in the town, which are; The last 3 days in March when there is a Medieval market and numerous events in recollection of times of peace. August – the town hosts the international celebration of La Huerta when groups representing market garden areas throughout Spain and other European countries gather to display their folklore, handicrafts and prepare gastronomic feasts from their local produce. October - the town puts on a week long outdoor party featuring music, shows and spectacular firework displays.
The town is well connected to the recently upgraded Spanish motorway network.

There are no less than 7 golf courses within a short distance of Los Alcazares, with 2 fantastic 18 hole courses right on your doorstep!!

In the square (approx 4 minutes walk) there is a post room which offers internet access, fax machines, copier and mailing facilities There are also many shops bars and restaurants all within walking distance and a great supermarket with an amazing fish counter! Every day (in different villages) there is a spanish market which sells everything from food to clothes and gifts - well worth a visit.
There are also many local shopping area, water parks, cycling areas and beautiful walks.
There are plenty of very good Restaurants and bars in Los Alcazares or if you have a car then you may wish to go further afield and visit some of the fishing harbours with great restaurants.

Further details indoors: The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor right opposite the lift, and has been furnished to a very high standard for the owners' comfort during winter months. The open plan kitchen is fitted with all cooking facilities, including touch controlled ceramic hob, built under fan oven, and provided with quality utensils for 6 people.. The dining area is equipped with a light coloured Spanish style wooden table,inset with tiles, and chairs to seat six. The lounge has a very comfortable sofa, convertible to double bed, and 2 armchairs, where we have the TV and sky channels with all English programmes, DVD player, CD player and welcome information pack. Off the living area are two bedrooms, with 2 single beds and 1 double, both with built in wardrobes for plenty of storage. The bathroom is fully fitted with shower over the bath and large mirrored wall cabinet. From the lounge there are patio doors leading to the balcony, with a patio table and chairs. This overlooks the two swimming pools, both of which have a childs pool connected to them. The apartment offers hot and cold air conditioning
Further details outdoors: There are no sunbeds around the swimming pool, however for your convenience we have provided 4 fold up lightweight sunbeds which are located in the apartment.

Airport collection can be arranged. Our welcome hosts will meet you on arrival at the airport and show you to the apartment, they will also assist with any queries you have and advice on any places of interest. They will also provide 24 hour telephone assistance. The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and clean linen and towels provided (excluding beach towels). A helpful welcome folder with all the information on the apartment and surroundings is located in the apartment and we can arrange a welcome food pack upon request.
Conditions
No pets allowed. No smoking inside the apartment, however smoking is permitted on the balcony. A refundable breakages deposit bond of £150 is required with final payment, this will be refunded once the apartment has been cleaned and checked (upon your return home) 25% of holiday cost is required to secure the booking and final payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure.
