About the home
Our comfortable " Home from Home " Villa is 3 bedroomed ( With air conditioning & fans in the top 2 bedrooms & large fans downstairs in the 3rd bedroom ,as well as the lounge & kitchen ) .
Large family bathroom with bath & shower plus downstairs bathroom with shower.
It has a spacious lounge with satellite TV., DVD Player & Music System
The kitchen contains a fridge freezer ,cooker , hob , microwave , dishwasher & all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need.
On the front terrace is a table & six chairs.
At the back is a garden with a Lock Up containing a Washing Machine & also bicycles !
It also has a roof terrace with sun loungers ,a table & 6 chairs .
At the front is a terrace with table & chairs which overlooks our garden & the communal gardens & pool.
We have a barbecue & plenty of Sun Loungers & Comfortable Chairs.
There are two swimming pools.
The beach is 10 minutes walk away , as are excellent restaurants , bars & the extremely good value Mercadona Supermarket.
With the keys I include an information sheet about the house and surrounding area, as well as numbers of reliable drivers who can collect you from the airport & take you to El Divino.

The Costa Calida region
Costa Calida means Hot Coast ... the area boasts arguably the best & sunniest climate in Spain. Beautiful beaches & wonderful restaurants .
The Los Alcazares / Pueblo Patricia area
Coast/Beach
The lovely long sandy beach and paved promenade are a 10 min walk away. The warm waters of the Mar Menor are ideal for swimming and water sports as well as being safe for children. The area is flat and idea for walking and bike rides. Bikes can be hired locally.
Golf
There are several golf courses in easy driving distance, La Manga golf is 20 mins drive and Roda just 10 mins.
Travel
Murcia airport is 10 mins drive away, local taxis wait at the entrance or we can arrange for you to be met. Alicante airport is about 1hrs drive away car hire is recommended if you use this airport.
Distances
The old town of Los Alcazares is a 5 mins drive or 20 mins flat walk. Market day is Tuesday.
Cartagena is a 20 mins drive, beautiful historic town with Maritime Museum, a good selection of shops and modern marina.
Cabo De Palos is a 1 5mins drive, a small fishing village with lovely harbour front fish restaurants and cafes. Sunday is market day.
Murcia is a 40 mins drive, another beautiful historic city with lovely riverside parks and impressive old buildings.
Further details
The local plaza has a cosmopolitan feel with a selection of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy local and international dishes. Small shops open late and street entertainment on Summer evenings make this a relaxing place to spend your holiday.

This is a beautifully maintained and well equiped town house apartment. I have stayed at this property on three occasions and it has always been excellent. It is part of a very well situated complex with a large clean pool very close by. The resort is full of a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. There are some delicious Spanish restaurants which are wonderful but for the less adventurous there are plenty of places serving English type food. The beach is clean and sandy and the sea is warm and safe. The walk along the sea front is lovely - very easy for all ages. I cannot recommend this holiday home highly enough for those wanting an easy relaxing break. Good supermarkets only a short walk away.Travel from Murcia airport has to the easiest journey ever - 10 mins max! |

Just a few hours from the UK by well priced budget airlines (check the prices often before you book), this is a fantastic place to have a holiday. Los Alcazares is only about 10 minutes from the airport which is a huge benefit. I enjoy a lazy holiday, never venturing far ,so it's great that everything is within walking distance or cycling distance if you like. There is a supermarket nearby with an amazing fish counter and everything else you'd expect & also a Lidl, so you can get what you need, for eating in or for the bbq. It is a mix of old & new Spain with a wide range of menus & prices, the visitors book is good for suggestions as to where to go. there are regular markets where you can but gifts & fruit & veg. The beach is a 5/10 minute stroll away too. The house is lovely, very comfortable, home from home with a great pool just opposite the front terrace, you can of course sunbath on the suntrap roof terrace for that all over tan!! There is a bedroom downstairs which is ideal for people who may have a problem with the stairs. I'm lazy but there are lots of places to go by bus, hire car or over to La Manga by water taxi. Highly recommended destination & house :) |

House was in tip top condition - spotless, comfortable and with everything one could need - even bikes to cycle along the promenade or boardwalk. The complex was attractive and well managed with a delightful, large pool. The resort had a large variety of good food with restaurants offering great value for money, shops, pedestrianised boulevards, interesting marina and a safe and sandy beach within easy walking distance. Travel time was minimal using inexpensive flights from Leeds/Bradford to Murcia, with a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport to the house. |
