Hill top House The bungalow with a great location! Part of a small development, it was our home for 2 years. Now it's for rent as a comfortable Home from Home. 2 bedrooms. Air/Conditioning available. Also a Swimming pool shared by a few other homes, you can have a really great holiday enjoying an unspoilt village on the Mar- Manor Sea.
The Bungalow is high on El Carmoli Hill, with its spectacular views over the Mar Menor Sea and La Manga strip. The well stocked and furnished home offers everything for a great holiday. Hill Top House is only 500 meters from the sea. The beach is very safe for swimming; the Mar-Menor is only about 7 meters at its deepest. The house has its own of street parking. All this is only 20 minuets from Murcia airport. Hill Top House is a NO Smoking house.
I will personally welcome you to Hill Top House, hand over the keys and show you all the comforts and modern facilities! Have all your question ready? There will be a FREE welcome pack of food and drink including a bottle of wine to help you though the first hours till you can shop. Your linen and Towels will be changed each week.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Murcia coast is known as the Costa Calida ( the Warm Coast ). Murcia is as yet undiscovered by most UK holiday makers, so it offers a charm not found in most of the Costas. The villages are surrounded by orange and lemon groves, the local markets are full of fresh produce straight from the farm. The home is situated on a small mountain and is surounded by distant mountains. I can recomend CAR HIRE , but you may have your favorit company.
Los Alcazares / Los Urrutias area
El Carmoli and Los Urrutias are small Spanish villages, but they come to life in the summer, mostly with Spanish. They have plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. There is a wonderful sandy beach which has a very gentle slope, go 50 yards out and the water is only up to your waist! Nightlife, discos, nightclubs etc can be found in the nearest town of Los Alczares, 4 miles away. Cartagena City wich dates back over 2000 years, has a wonderful old town centre and port, is only 13 miles, with lots of entertainment and charm of its own.
How to get there
Fly to Murcia Airport, then 15 minutes drive OR fly to Alicante Airport, then 1 hour's drive. If you are driving to Spain please contact us for details. There are plenty of cheap flights, by Ryanair, Easyjet, BMI, British Airways, and others, but book early if you need special dates. I can recomend CAR HIRE from eather Murcia or Alicante Airports. Further details indoors: There are good views from the front terrace and better from the roof Solarium where you can have a BBQ while you take in views of the Mountains and the Sea, there is a good range of patio Furniture. Close by El Carmoli there is a large open space (Sand Dunes)used as a bird sanctuary that goes down to the Sea. The home has a separate Dining room, 2 Bedrooms 1 Double with Air/Conditioning and ceiling fans, 1 Twin with ceiling fan, 1 Bathroom, 1 Showroom, American Kitchen with Fridge/freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Full size Cooker, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Iron,
The Air-Conditioning is available for a small extra charge.The living room has TV with a satellite receiver giving 32 TV channels, and radio, A HI-FI with CD, Radio and cassette. Also DVD player and some discs. There are ample portable fans and heaters. You have use of a large communal swimming pool.
At the rear of the house there is a conservatory /Utility room with extra seating. We also provide a portable Bar B Que .
Further details outdoors: The local village of Los Urutias (1 Mile) has Bars, Restaurants, shops, a church and a Bank. 4 Miles from the house there is Los Alcazares an interesting town, it has some very good restaurants both Spanish and international, and a good range of shops and Supermarkets, There is a Promenade with beach bars, and Restaurants. Basic changeover cleaning is FREE of charge. We do expect our home to be left as you found it on arrival. We do not provide beach towels. The outdoor pool is not heated, so is a bit cold in the winter.

"Thanks for lovely two weeks. We were a bit worried the heat would be too much this time of year, but the Air-condition was excellent and the sea breeze was lovely. Although there is some very good restaurants in the towns nearby we found the most reasonable and best meals for us were those we prepared at home with Spanish ingredients bought at Local markets and supermarkets. The house, the views and the weather were great. We rented a small boat in La Manga for half a day and sailed on the Mar Menor. Until the next time!"
