The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Los Alcazares is located along the coast of Mar Menor with its natural salt water lagoon, with noteable places such as Alicante within 1 hours drive to the North and Cartagena 20 minutes drive to the South. Cartagena is renown for its Spanish Naval base and boast the 1st Iron Submarine to be built in the World.
The climate and sea water temperature in Mar Menor is in fact noteably higher than other resorts on Spains Eastern coast by fact of the salt water lagoon which is not only waveless but offers superb swimming conditions for younger children and families as a whole.
Between Los Alcazares and Murcia there are numerous 1st class Golf facilities with Roda Golf Beach Resort only minutes drive from Casa Andrew and within 30 minutes drive the avid golfer can choose to play a further 7-8 internationial golfing venues, La-Torre, Mar Menor Golf Resort, Mosa Trajectum, El Valle to name but a few.
Los Alcazares area
Los Alcazares by fact of its location in Mar Menor, offers a wide selection of sandy beaches, clear blue water with many surrounding fishing towns who daily trawl for fresh sea prawns and other varieties of fish.
Throughout spring and summer Los Alcazares is a hive of activity with its sea food fish restaurants, bars and cafe“s not forgetting the many golf courses within 30 minutes drive.

The Villa is located within 10 minutes drive of Murcia (San Javier) airport, therefore only a short taxi ride away.
Within 2 minutes walk from the Villa, are local restaurants and bars safisfying every individual taste. Within 5 - 10 minutes walk is Los Alcazares shopping mall offering a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and a large supermarket.
The beach and promenade are also located a short distance from the Villa and a short taxi ride costing €5-6 euros will adequately compensate for a hiring a car during your vacation.
Los Alcazares and the surrounding area is also well known for its local markets such as San Pedro, Santiago de la Libera offering freshly harvested vegetables, clothing and jewellery at extremely low prices.
For those golfing enthusiasts, Roda Golf Beach Resort is approximately 1 kilometre away
How to get there
Los Alcazares is located approximately 2 miles from Murcia (San Javier) airport which provides frequent daily flights from most UK destinations and low cost airlines.
Alicante Airport to the North is only 45 minutes drive, it is also a useful alternative to Murcia (San Javier) airport which offers excellent motorway choices to speed you to a holiday of a life time.
Our Host representitive will be at the property to greet you on arrival and to bid you farewell on your departure. So, no need to worry about late arrivals or late departures, if we dont have a conflicting booking you may stay at Casa Andrew until its necessary for you to depart to the Airport.
