About the home

Come and stay at our beautiful apartment 'Vista Jardin' on Roda Golf & Beach Resort and enjoy the year round sunshine, lovely sandy beaches, stunning scenery and, of course, the golfing and leisure facilities that this 5 star resort has to offer. Our property is only 5-10 minutes drive from St Javier (Murcia) airport and is ideal for couples and families. We can even provide cots and highchairs if required.

Nothing is too much trouble and our management company is very helpful providing a 24hr call-out service in case of emergency. For those people wishing to use the golf course a 20% discount is offered on the green fee.

Our luxurious apartment is furnished to a high standard with a flat screen LCD TV with various UK and Spanish channels. Internet access from the apartment via Wi-fi is available by hiring a dongle for a small fee from the Club House. There is air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms for the summer months and heating for those slightly cooler winter days.

Further details outdoors:
The front of the apartment overlooks 2 swimming pools. The back is south facing that not only benefits from a covered terrace for those hot days but also overlooks the communal gardens where you can take your sun lounger for a spot of peaceful sunbathing. The terrace is perfect for an al-fresco breakfast or an evening BBQ.

As well as the 18-hole golf course and communal pools there is an exclusive beach club. The beach club is free to use for guests and has an inviting pool overlooking the sea and beach, a restaurant, bar and changing facilities. The beach club is located on La Manga strip and can be accessed by car or by taking the boat across the Mar Menor.

The Club House, a short walk from the apartment overlooks the golf course and has an excellent restaurant and bar often with live entertainment for all the family.

The Costa Calida region

The Costa Calida lies between the Costa Blanca and Costa Almeria. The area known as Murcia enjoys on average, 315 days of sunshine every year and has an average temperature of 17 degrees.

Throughout the summer months the day time temperature is usually between 25'C and 35'C. The Murcia region remains largely unspoiled with many beautiful beaches and stunning scenery.

The Los Alcazares / Roda area

The village of Roda lies approximately 1.5km from the town and beaches of Los Alcazares. Los Alcazares lies next to the Mar Menor, which is Europe’s largest salt-water lagoon with more than 43 miles of coastline. The water is several degrees warmer than the nearby Mediterranean. The Mar Menor has a high salt content, which makes it easier to float in, and is rich in minerals, many of which are believed to be very good for your skin. The Mar Menor is ideal for most watersports including water skiing, jet skiing and scuba diving.

There is plenty to do in the area if you do not wish to laze around the pool or beautiful beaches. The historic City of Murcia is approximately 30 minutes from the resort by car. It hosts many of Spain’s well know department stores including El Corte Ingles. There are plenty of cultural attractions to see including Santa Maria Cathedral.

There are also many towns in the area that are easily accessible which are steeped in history or you could walk or cycle around one of the regional parks such as Sierra Espuna. Terra Natura Adventure Park (Murcia), Aqualandia Water Park (Benidorm) and Terramitica Park (Benidorm) are all within an hours drive away for those looking for even more adventure.

For winter sports - skiing and snow boarding, the ski area of Sierra Nevada is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Roda Golf & Beach Resort is located 5 minutes from Murcia airport (however, not on the flightpath) and approximately 45 minutes from Alicante airport. A number of airlines fly into the area including Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, and British Midland. Please also take a look at www.skyscanner.net

Taxis are available at the airport or you can hire a car which can be collected at the airport. Europacar are very reasonable.
