About the home

The apartment has 2 bedrooms one bedroom has two single beds while the master bedroom has a kingsize bed.The lounge has a leather sofa bed which sleeps two comfortably.The kitchen has fitted units, microwave and washing machine. There is also an ensuite fully tiled bathroom and 1 separate shower room so no waiting for the bathroom! The balcony and roof terrace is south facing for all you sun worshippers; it also has a put up shower and sun loungers.
The apartment is equipped with hot & cold air-con, Sky TV, LCD TV in lounge, a small LCD & DVD in the twin bedroom, iPod docking station and a playstation 2 to keep kids quiet !

The complex has an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool - very rare in Spain. It also has a jacuzzi, sauna and 2 sets of hydro massage showers which are very invigorating. There is also a small gym for use if needed. All this is on a private gated complex.

The beach at Los Narejos is ideal for young kids with its gentle sloping sand,shallow waters and no big waves gives us adults peace of mind when they are playing and is only a 15 min drive away with easy parking.

The Costa Calida region

The Costa Calida delights in 320 days of sunshine each year and even in the winter the temperature rarely drops below 15 degrees centigrade . The stress free way of life, dry climate and areas natural salt lakes are typical of Casta Calida.

To the south east of the province of Murcia in Spain there is a large expanse of salt water called the Mar Menor which is an enormous lagoon approximately 26 km long and 7 km wide, famous for its warm, tranquil and salty water, rich in health giving minerals. The Costa Calida beaches and the Mar Menor have been awarded the European blue flag for pollution free bathing .

The Los Alcazares / La Puebla area

La Puebla belongs to the town hall of Cartagena and is located in a triangle which encloses the cities of Los Alcazares, Torre Pacheo and Cartagena.

It is situated within 5 or 10 minutes distance from these cities and it enjoys all the facilities which they have to offer such as beaches, nautical sports, "FESTIVAL DE LA HUERTA" and all sort of international exhibitions (horse racing, tourism, cars, antiques, etc), museums and above all, history. This is one of the oldest areas of Spain, where Cartaginese and Romans settled.

The complex is situated within 5 minutes walking distance to the the centre of the village in which everyone can find a variety of shops,banks,bars and a mexican restaurant and is surrounded by agricultural land harvesting melons,oranges,lemons and potatoes.
La Puebla is very well connected by bus with Cartagena which is one of the biggest cities in spain and you could find some big shopping centres such as Carrefour and El corte ingles.Cartegena has an extensive commercial,tourist,cultural,and gastronomic offer.Also La Puebla is situated within 5 minutes drive by car to several golf courses like Torre de rame in Los Alcazares,Roda Golf in san javier and Mar Menor Golf Resort in Torre Pacheco.It is also located within 20 minutes drive to the most famous complex of spain which is La Manga Club.
Los Alcazares town is just a 10 minute drive away were you can find many shops,bars,restaurants and in the summer term an outdoor market which opens early evening and closes late at night so you can shop til u drop out of the heat of the midday sun!

The closest airport is Murcia San Javier, which is approximately 10 km away and is around a 15 min journey. The likes of Ryanair, Jet2, Easyjet and Monarch Airlines fly directly in to Murcia from the UK. Regular flights from other countries also fly into Murcia.

Alternatively you can use Alicante airport which is situated 55 minutes away and is very straightforward to get to once on the AP7 motorway.

Car hire is available from both airports and we find booking on the internet with DO YOU SPAIN seems to be the cheapest.

Alternatively we are happy to arrange collection and drop offs to and from airport.Please enquire for costings.

“Apartment absolutely fabulous” Fully equipped apartment where owners really thought of everything,nice and clean,kids entertainment in their room which kept them really busy. Several books for reading, movies to watch so absolutely spot on.We traveled to beach La Gola,where we left Jet-ski which is approx.25min. away and is great i would say 10 miles stretch of sand,perfect for kiddies or wave-runners (burger king on the way there does have a free wi-fi which is handy to check all your e-mails and avoid high data costs). Second beach we travelled to almost every second day is El Oasis(San Javier) which is magnificent!! Dinning was great value for a money and pizza's have been better than in Italy. Overall 10 out of 10.

“Lovely Complex” The Apartment is Fabulous it has everything you need, a double room, a twin room and a sofa bed in the living room, a nice kitchen with all the gadgets you require, you are provided with beach towels so you don't need to bring them, it has air conditioning which is exactly what you need to cool off after sunbathing on the large terrace or patio, it has a very sunny position. you can pop down to have a swim in the outdoor pool or have a swim in the indoor which has some spa showers a Jacuzzi sauna, gym room. You do need a car to get to the beach or into town. there is a local who will taxi you for 20 euros total there and back. There is a square in town full of restaurants and bars that you can sit outside and people watch. The beaches are great and the water was so warm. there is an outdoor market near the town which opens form 8 till midnight . I will have some photos to add soon
