If you are looking for ROMANCE then this 2 double bedroom, 2 full bath, lofted apartment near the sea is what you are longing for. Great for that quick get-away or longer-term escape. A 3 minute walk to the beach, Mediterranean Sea, pubs, international restaurants and shopping and no car needed. Both the loft bedroom and main level bedroom are outfitted with custom bedding and upgraded linens, air conditioning/heating units, romantic decor and access to three private balconies for viewing the stars, ocean and mountains or for outside dining or evening nightcap. Bedrooms can be changed to single beds if required. Walk to the beach in 3 minutes! Los Alcazares is noted for its many world class top rated golf courses within minutes of your apartment retreat. This lofted retreat with the upper level double bedroom with custom bedding, private bath, two decks and view of the ocean will capture your imagination.

The kitchen is fully outfitted to including small appliances for your convince. You will enjoy the original Spanish Flavor coupled with modern upgrades. You and your family will enjoy the 3 large and sunny private balconies outfitted with lounges, table and chairs for eating outdoors. Our home is fully air-conditioned and heated. Parking is not a problem with the private rear gated parking compound and on street parking.

After watching the para-skiing on the beach you may wish to take a lesson and learn to fly and leap over the waves. The vibrant City of Murcia and the ancient walled City of Cartagena offer great sightseeing, museums, shopping and Spanish culture. If hiking is your passion, it is available in every direction for every fitness level. Every day of the week you can attend a different local street market offering fresh fruit and vegetables and deep-discounted bargains from across the globe.

In Los Alcazares, your only concern will be what to choose to do and experience. The apartment is only 10 minutes from Murcia airport & 40 minutes from Alicante airport. Only 300 yards from the beach, 5 minutes from shopping and groceries, 5 minutes walk to bars including many English and Spanish restaurants. Only 5 minutes walk to almost everything! No need for a car as our key holder can pick up at both the Murcia airport and the Alicante airport (at extra cost). A customized Welcome Package is available and tailored to your needs.

The Costa Calida region

The Los Alcazares area in the region of Murcia enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. The Costa Calida literally means warm coast and the semi-arid subtropical climate offers average annual temperatures of 18 degrees and Spain’s mildest winters. The Health Organization says the area has one of the healthiest climates in the world. The town is well connected to the recently upgraded motorway network and there are regular flights to and from many European cities to Murcia/San Javier airport; which is less than 10 minutes from the property. Within a half hour drive you can visit the busy cities of Cartagena and Murcia. Both cities are renowned as cultural and historical cities in the region of Murcia

The Los Alcazares / Los Narejos area

Los Alcazares is situated in the Murcia region of South-Eastern Spain, also knows as the Costa Calida. The town sits on the western shore of the Mar Menor, a saltwater lagoon separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a 22km long strip of land called La Manga. At Los Alcazares you will find a host of shops, bars and restaurants. The beautiful blue flag beaches at Los Narejos are only 500 meters away and there are lots of other beaches of the Mar Menor locally to visit. The property is within 5-10 minutes driving distance of an 18 hole golf course at Roda. There are currently 9 golf courses within a 20 minute drive including Villa Martin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor, La Finca and the championship courses at La Manga. The town of Los Alcazares was afforded municipal autonomy on the 13th of October 1983 and in celebration of this the town puts on a week long outdoor party featuring live music, shows and spectacular fireworks displays. The last 3 days of March sees Los Alcazares take on a medieval flavour with a large medieval market and numerous events in recollection of the time of peach following the creation of effective defences against invasions of Barbary pirates during the 15th century. Throughout the last 2 weeks of August the European countries gather to display their folklore, handicrafts and prepare gastronomic feasts from local produce.

Fly to Murcia airport - Los Narejos is just 6km from airport in Los alcazares, Alicante Airport is 50 minutes away.
Cheap flights are available from Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, Flybe, Jet2, BMi baby and many others.
Car hire is available from Europcar, Amigo Autos, Auto-Europe, Carjet. (please pre-book). Car hire is not required to rent in this area.
Local buses and taxis run regularly between the airport and the town. We also offer pick -up service at both airports at an additional cost.

“Just what we wanted” Very good property and excellent value for money. Location was good to access the beach and restaurants and the street the apartment was on was very Spanish with families sitting outside dining or playing cards, often greeting you as you walked by. The private parking at the back of the property was very useful particularly during busy times such as the weekends. The beach bar at the end of the road does lovely Mojito's. All in all, had a lovely time.
