A top floor apartment, WITH A LARGE PRIVATE ROOF TERRACE, plus a Balcony off the lounge. There are 2 bedrooms( with built in wardrobes), a comfortable lounge/dining room, a medium sized kitchen with fitted units ,and a fully tiled bathroom with a shower facility.
The roof terrace and balcony face south over the complex and overlook the communal swimming pool and have views of the Mar Menor and La Manga in the distance.There is a shaded area on the roof terrace out of the sun, plus there are reclining sun beds, large patio table & chairs, & a cold water shower to cool down!!
The apartment is fully equipped with Air Conditioning, multi channel TV, DVD, a CD/Radio music system and a Playstation, plus games. There is also a safe to keep your valuables in.
The large communal swimming pool has a separate children's splash pool & is surrounded by greenery, trees, shrubs, seating areas and fountains. During July/August a Lifeguard is in attendance to ensure safety.
The whole complex is secure with key operated gates and car parking with electronic gates.
The apartment block has 2 fully functional lifts which service all floors.

places of interest, such as Cartagena, La Manga, Murcia,Torrevieja, Alicante etc.
All required items are supplied including plug adaptors, corkscrew, cool bag for a picnic, sewing kit, hair tongs. hair straighteners, hair dryer, games, cards, books, etc
For emergencies, a medical kit, fire extinguisher & fire blanket are in the apartment (Smoke Detectors are installed)
TO SAVE YOUR LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE Beach Towels are supplied together with a portable umbrella and 2 portable chairs.

To the Southeast of the Province of Murcia in Spain, there is a large expanse of salt water called the Mar Menor. which is a large natural lagoon, approximately 26 km long and 7 km wide, famous for it's warm, tranquil and salty water, rich in health giving minerals. The town is well connected to the recently upgraded Spanish motorway network and there are regular flights from many European cities to Murcia (San Javier International Airport) which is only five minutes drive away. Alicante airport offers even more flights, and is just an hour away. 30 km to the northwest can be found the historic city of Murcia, the region's administrative centre. 15 km to the southwest lies Cartagena, a delightful Roman port city which has recently been revitalized. La Manga is approx 15 kms away.
The Mar Menor is very well served by Spain's road network and in easy reach of Alicante, Torrevieja and Cartegena and La Manga
Further details
A deposit of £100 is required with the final payment to the owner to allow for breakages and loss of keys, refundable at the end of your stay by the owner, following return of keys and a satisfactory inspection from the managing agent of the apartment. We do not charge for minor breakages such as crockery.
We can provide airport transfers, via our managing agent, which will be charged at a nominal fee paid directly to them.
We regret that being a top floor apartment with metre high railings on balcony and roof terrace plus 19 steps up to roof terrace, we do not feel it is suitable for children or the infirm.
The rental rates include use of the air conditioning.

The Costa Calida region


The Costa Calida delights in 320 days of sunshine each year and even in the winter the temperature rarely drops below 15'C.
The area is steeped in history and dates back to the Roman and Arabic times.
The Costa Calida beaches and the Mar Menor have been awarded the European blue flag for pollution free bathing.
The Los Alcazares / Albatros area
The name Los Alcazares has Arabic origin meaning palace or stately house.
Cartagena is an old naval city steeped in history,with many designer shops and tapas bars,well worth a visit and only 20mins drive away.
Murcia is 40mins north of Los Alcazares and again is well worth a visit for its history, designer shops and tapas bars.
Los Alcazares is an authentic Spanish town with a beautiful promenade, lined with palm trees, running the length of the town. There are many restaurants along the promenade which is a great place for walkers and cyclists.
There are over 10 golf courses within a 5 mile radius! with the favourite being Las Ramblas, a hidden gem & only 20mins drive from Los Alcazares.
Sailing/Windsurfing is very popular in the Mar Menor due to the shallow warm waters and there are many local sailing clubs dotted along the Mar Menor coast line.
There are various festivals held in the town each year, the most notable is the Water Festival in October, which the whole town attend, this consists of wind surfing races, barbecues and music of all kinds throughout the day.
Bicycles are available to hire locally.

From Murcia Airport - Los Alcazares/Albatros Apartment is just 5 km from airport by taxi or hire car. Alicante Airport is 50 minutes away by car. Cheap flights are available from airlines such as Ryanair, Monarch, Flybe, Jet2, BMI baby and Easyjet. Car hire is also available from Carjet, Auto-Europe, Europcar. Local Taxis are available - but be wary as they may try to overcharge tourists. Fare should be no more than 10 euros.

A non refundable deposit of £100 is required at confirmation of the booking, & the balance payment is required 8 weeks before your holiday commences together with a £75 'security' deposit which is returnable after your stay subject to the apartment being left in a satisfactory condition. Payment is by cheque in pounds sterling only. To book the Christmas and New Year period is an extra £45 per week, the temperature is usually around 20 degrees centigrade at this time of year.The rental includes basic cleaning costs (bed linen, towels, floor cleaning, dusting etc) and USE OF AIR CONDITIONING, but does not include any additional cleaning costs required following your stay, such as stains, dirty cooker/hob etc so please ensure these are left in a clean condition prior to your departure as this will ensure your asecurity deposit is returned in full. Note: The Rates for 3 people are the same as for 4 people
