Knox Cottage is a superb, single-storey, detached cottage, located on the edge of Lorrha in County Tipperary, near Portumna in County Galway, and can sleep two people. The cottage has a double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with an open fire. Outside there is ample off road parking, a lawned garden and a shared garden. With so much to see and do, and the opportunity to hire boats from the owner by private arrangement, Knox Cottage is a wonderful holiday base.

TV with Saorview, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and children's z-bed on request. Ample off road parking. Front lawned garden with furniture and BBQ, shared use of large walled lawned garden. Free use of rowing boat on Friars Lough and bicycles, at own risk by prior arrangement with owner. Coin-operated shared sauna, €6 per hour - 70 yards from cottage. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Although all ground floor, the bedroom is accessed via one step. Note: Dogs to be kept on a lead when outside due to farm animals next to cottage.

The pretty and historic village of Lorrha is set on an ancient monastic site from the 6th century and is located in the north of County Tipperary. The village benefits from a playground, a shop and two pubs. Steeped in history, Lorrha has an 11th century church, The Friars Lough and the Dominican Priory. This is a wonderful base for your holiday exploring this lovely part of Ireland.
