The lovely modern detached property is set inside a private gated residence that benefits from a large shared swimming pool. It is the perfect location to explore the exceptionally beautiful region of Provence. Your are just 20 minutes from the region's cultural capital of Avignon, with its Papal Palace, museums, theatres and world renowned festival. The ancient town of Orange with its spectacular Roman theatre is just a 15 minute drive away. Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, famous for its antique fairs all through the year, and riverside dining restaurants is also close by. Provence is a cyclists' paradise, with easy cycling on quiet roads in the Rhone valley, or for the brave, there is the infamous Mont Ventoux! The region is in the heart of the Cotes de Rhone wine growing area, so this is a paradise for wine lovers, with the famous Chateau Neuf de Pape vines and village just 15 minutes drive away, or an hours cycle ride, passing through the vineyards on route, with spectacular views all around. In the centre of Loriol village you will find every amenity. A Spa Supermarket; Bread shop; Post Office with cash machine; a medical centre, Pharmacy; Public Library with internet access; hairdressers (x2) and a beauty salon. Public transport links available to the towns of Carpentras and Orange.

This is a modern property built in 2004. Fully equipped, this much loved pretty little villa has a very light and airy feel.
Kitchen/Lounge/Diner: 30 square meters
The open plan living area is furnished with quality oak furniture, with a fully equipped kitchen. The dining table seats 6 people. There is a large cream leather sofa bed which seats 3 people/sleeps 2 and an easy chair with foot stool. There are two lots of French windows leading off the lounge onto two different sides of the garden.

2 single beds bedside table and lamp, chair. Fully fitted wardrobes.

Bath with shower and single wash basin.

The gravel covered garden surrounds four sides of the villa. There is ample outdoor seating with a 6 seater garden table and chairs as well as a two seater bistro table and chairs, plus 2 reclining sun loungers. There is plenty of sun and shade in the garden. Extra shade is provided by the awening to the rear of the property. A solid fuel BBQ is available for use.

Conditions
During the months of July and August we only accept two week rentals. A 25% deposit is required on booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to your holiday commencement date. Payment is by cheque or bank transfer. We require a security deposit of £150 to cover any damages. This will be refunded two weeks after your departure, after inspection, providing everything is left in good condition.

The Loriol Du Comtat area
Loriol du Comtat is a peaceful little village just a stone's throw away from Carpentras and about 20 min from Avignon. Loriol is located in an agricultural plain surrounded by vast vine fields that produce the famous Chateauneuf du Pape wine. There are châteaux and beautiful residences spread through this lovely green countryside.
As you get closer to the village you will notice a few more recently built detached houses on the outskirts. In the distance you will see the bell tower of the Romanesque church. The centre of the village is fairly small, so you can't miss the large terrace of the café opposite a pleasantly shaded little square. The Romanesque church is beautiful. It simultaneously overlooks and is in the centre of the village. Go right up to its door and you will have a beautiful view of the plain surrounding Loriol.
There a small market every Saturday morning, a music festival held in June, and the fete of St Pierre in August, and many other events held throughout the year.

By Car – Les Bastides du Ventoux is situated approximately 20 minutes drive east of Avignon, 60 minutes north of Salon-de-Provence and 30 minutes to the north of Aix-en-Provence
By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are approximately 1 hours drive away, with regular flights in the summer months from many UK airports. Avignon airport is 30 minutes away, flights from the south of the UK operate in the summer months. Nice aiport is 2hrs45min away, with flights from the UK all year round. Flights to Lyon airport 2hrs30 away, also operate throughout the year.
By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 20 minutes away
