The property is all on one level. Three bedrooms one of which has a double bed, the other 2 have single beds. Bedlinen and bath towels (not beach/pool) are provided during your stay.
There is a shower room with toilet and also a seperate toilet.
Open planned lounge, dining and kitchen with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. An essentials pack will be provided which includes salt, pepper, sugar, toilet rolls and washing-up liquid. A washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Outside there is a terrace with table and chairs and gas bar-b-q, perfect for those balmy evenings, with a stunning view of the pool and surrounding countryside
A selection of books, CDs and DVDs.
Satellite TV with all the main British channels.
For younger travellers there are cots, playpens, potties or childrens toilet seats, high chair, bicycle seat and steriliser. Please let us know what you need.

The gites have direct access to the large L shaped swimming pool. The pool measures approximately 12m by 6m. The pool has a shallow end with roman steps and a deep end and is fitted with 2 motion alarms which conform to French standards. There is also a newly fitted perimeter fence for that extra peace of mind. Also around the pool are sunloungers with cushions and umbrellas for when the sun gets too hot.
In the pool house there are plenty of outdoor games for when you wish to be more energetic.
We now offer Wifi on the pool terrace and around the pool so you can always stay in contact with loved ones or if you can't tear yourself away....work!

Prices are fully inclusive, we fully clean each gite at the end of each stay which we do not charge for we just ask that you try to leave it as you found it.
Changeover day is Saturday in high season. All other times we can be flexible so just ask. Bookings commence at 4.00pm the day of arrival and terminate at 10.00am the day of departure (unless otherwise agreed)
A welcome pack is provided which includes wine, tea, coffee, sugar and milk and bread, also provided is an essentials pack so you do not have to rush off to the supermarket the moment you arrive.
Conditions
Bookings can be made by phone or email. A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. Final payment is due 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the booking. A £150 security deposit is payable on arrival.
The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Charente Maritime region
The Charente Maritime has a unique micro climate that makes it the second sunniest place in France after the Cote d'Azur.
There is fantastic countryside with lovely villages, vineyards and fields of sunflowers.
The Atlantic coast boasts some fantastic golden beaches and superb seafood restaurants.
The Lorignac area
Lorignac is situated close to the Gironde Estuary, the Atlantic Coast but only 1 hour from the bustling city of Bordeaux with its easy tram connection to the city centre. La Rochelle is just 1h 30 with its rich history but closer to home is the wonderful towns of Saintes, Cognac, Jonzac and Pons.
Saintes hold a yearly music festival in June, there are always fire works every year for Bastille day (14th August) in all the towns, one on a different night so you can see fireworks three times in one week if you wish to.
We are only 10 minutes from the very pretty marina of Mortagne Sur Gironde with several restaurants and 30 minutes from Talmont sur gironde, named as one of the prettiest villages in France, highlights include a weekly night market during the summer.
Royan & St. George de Didonne are premier coastal resorts only 20-30 minutes away offering all the sophistication of French beach life, various water-sports and beach activities for children.
Cognac, the heart of Brandy making is 30 minutes away making a good day out to visit the famous Cognac houses such as Hennessy, Courvoisier & Hine.
The large town of Saintes is only a 30 minute drive away with its shops and restaurants and amphitheatre.
For sports lovers the quiet country roads are perfect for a bike ride and there are lots of specially marked tracks for mountain bikes, horse-riding (the local stables is 10 mins away) and walkers. There are 18 hole golf courses at Royan, Cognac and Saintes and a 9 hole course at Montendre which are all within 45 minutes.
Being right in the country, there are many birds to see so it is a great place for those with an interest in birds.
Also for nature lovers, a good place to visit is Vitrezay, by the estuary where there is also an exhibition centre and bar/restaurant.
