Spacious and very comfortable. Downstairs, a typical provencial kitchen and back kitchen, winter dining room with fireplace, separate toilets, large shower room + one large double bedroom opening directly onto the garden, terrace with vineyard First floor: 2 double bedrooms, one of them with a dressing, 1 big bathroom with toilets, bathtub, shower and double sink, 1 large living room (grand piano, TV, DVD, CD, books, games...). Terrace. Second floor: 2 smaller double rooms, perfect for young couples, teen agers or children. Salerne tiles, stoned wine cave, big garage used to store 5 bikes, table tennis, garden seats and tables, a big freezer, water filtration (mineral quality drinking water).

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
Lorgues is in the centre of Provence about one hour's drive from the airports of Nice or Toulon/Hyeres. This is a beautiful area set between the mountains and the Mediterranean sea and superb for touring. There are many historic villages and famous Provencal vineyards close by. An easy drive brings you to the beaches and lively resorts at Sainte Maxime, Saint Raphael, Saint Tropez, Port Grimaud. Inland midst breathtaking scenery, the Gorges du Verdon - the French Grand Canyon- and Lake Sainte Croix, the largest lake in Provence, offer swimming, walking, sailing, white water rafting, kayaking and windsurfing. All just 45 minutes away.
Lorgues area
At 5 minutes walk from the house, Lorgues is a charming and friendly medieval village with many cafes, shops, bars and restaurants, and a typical market every Tuesday morning. You can find banks, several pharmacies, bakeries, supermarkets, a cinema and tourist information. Local attractions include Abbaye du Thoronet, Salerne village famous for its tiles, the waterfall at Sillans la Cascade ... and the renowned truffle restaurant Chez Bruno (who lives next door to the house). Within 1 hour drive, 15 golf courses can be found. There are tennis courts open for rental in the village.

10 minutes ride from the trainstation (Les Arcs Draguignan) 4,15 hour from Paris by train (TGV) 1 hour from Paris by plane (Nice) + 1 hour car ride
If you come by car from the north, take the A8 motorway and come out at 32 (10 kms to Lorgues)

In the period from October to April actual power consumption will be measured and has to be settled separately. End of the stay, house cleaning: 80 euros. Possibility of house cleaning during the stay. Someone will take care of the swimming pool evey two days.
Conditions
Refundable breakages deposit of 500 euros required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 100% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
