About the home

Lovely Provencal villa with swimming pool placed on a large, quiet and peaceful property, surrounded by old oaks and olive trees. The villa is located approx. 3 km from the mediaval village of Lorgues, which gives you an easy access to all amenities, including the local market (every tuesday), and many cafés and restaurants for eating out.

The house is located close to "Chateau de Bernes".

With a car, you can easily access beaches (St. Maxime, St. Tropez), a lake (Ste. Croix), different golf fields (St. Endréol, La Motte) or the different wine yards.

You will access the villa by passing a typical stone arcade, which will guide to the the main entrance, From there you will enter the living-dining room where there is a fire-place and a nice view to the large swimming pool (5 X 12 m) . From the living room you will have access the major rooms (all have 160 X 200 cm beds) and other facitilies (bathroom, showers and toilets). There are 3 major glass doors which gives you access to the to the different terraces surrounding the villa (so the sun can be enjoyed from the morning to late evening) and quick access to the swimming pool and grill area (evening lights)

Typical Provence villa surrounded by olive trees, cypres, lavenders and other typical provence bushes (thyme, laurel, rosemary etc.).
Terraces surronding the villa and swimming pool. Quick access to different walking tours (Chateau de Bernes, the village of Lorgues etc.) - maps and guides of the area will be provided.

Swimming pool between 18'C and 27'C in the period April to September.
Swimming pool is maintained by a garderner.
Swimming pool equipped with alarm for safety reason (for small children).
French- English speaking representative on hand to answer any questions.

The Lorgues area

In the middle of the Varois vineyards, between the sea and the mountains, you will find the historical village with 10 000 inhabitants. Lorgues and its surrounding offers you:
- some of the best Provence vineyards in the area ("Chateau de Bernes")
- many small and typical restaurants and cafés (list of good restaurants can be provided if needed)
- an Internationally acknowledge "truffle" restaurant "Chez Bruno (located 3 km from the city centre)
- the biggest market place in Var (every tuesday morning)
- Golf and other activities
- Potery and terra cotta would be found in Salernes

Nearest railway station is Les Arcs en Provence/Draguignan. There is a bus connection to Lorgues 2 to 3 times a day.
