Idyllically situated, totally renovated and imposing property on the outskirts of the renowned and sought-after Provençal town of Lorgues, the Mas de Peirouard offers the solitude of the countryside, open views of the olive groves and a truly tranquil setting yet only a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Lorgues. The grounds of the Mas are quite extensive and ideal for young children with open spaces for exploration.
The property can sleep 8 adults comfortably in 4 bedrooms that can be either twin or double + possibility of 2 children in a small bedroom. The upper floor is accessed by 2 staircases, one to the east and the other to the west. The East wing has master bedroom with en suite bathroom and WC and 2nd bedroom with same mix of beds and en suite shower room with WC.
The second staircase leads to 2 bedrooms. One with twin or double bed and double aspect windows. Smaller bedroom has twin beds. Both share bathroom WC. There is also an office which could take 2 bunks.

The pool heating is by Solar Geo Thermal and is 'off' during summer months unless requested 'on'.

The Var is the largest Department in Provence stretching from beyond St Tropez in the west and beyond to Frejus in the east.

Lorgues is roughly central and in easy driving to the mail holiday attractions.

The weather is glorious in the summer, rarely getting over 35c and not too cold in the winter.

Lorgues is one of the best locations to vacation away from the beaches, whilst only 40 mins drive to Ste Maxime and 50 mins to St Tropez.

It has an all year population of around 10,000 with one of the biggest markets in the S. France every Tuesday.

The population is of course mostly French, but there are many English and Dutch residents.

Some of the most famous English families like Sainsbury's and Dyson have estates close by.

It is in the Var region and therefore in the centre of all the major tourist attractions.

In 2010 The Sunday Times Travel correspondent recommended it as the best location for holidaying in the South of France.

Within 60 mins drive, are Nice, Marseilles,St Tropez, Aix, and within 90 mins Monaco or Avignon.

It has a wonderful climate, being not too hot in the summer, nor too cold in the winter
