Quintessentially French in character, les Micoucouliers has been the much loved home of its owners fro several generations. Situated on the outskirts of Lorgues, Les Micoucouliers is an imposing and elegant house painted in traditional soft ochre with large white shutters. Steps leads up to a large terrace at the front of the house with plenty of mature trees and beyond here is the large swimming pool with views across the vineyards.
Inside, one cannot fail impressed by the vast leaving area - a sitting room with fire place and beamed ceiling leads to a wonderful dining area, complete with beautiful antique furniture. Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first and second floors and are splacious but simple style with views at the front of the pool and hills beyond or at the back across the vineyards.

There are plenty of options for eating and relaxing in the sun. The pool is not heated but we do have a solar cover to keep the heat during the night.
Conditions
A well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no cats.
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
Refundable breakages deposit of £1000 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
30% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
Provence inspires images of fields with lavender, famous wines, deliciously distinctive cuisine, ancient traditions and lively local markets.
From Lorgues, there is plenty to explore - the spectacular gorge du Verdon, the wine trail of the Cotes de Provence, the medieval villages of the southern half of the Provencal mountains or south to the coast and fashionable resorts such as St Tropez or Cannes.

Lorgues is a lovely town full of restaurants.
Every tuesday there is a local market with the dispalys of charming Provencal fabrics, bedspreads, dried herbs, local cheese and products.
